I think he just maybe the best player of pace ever. Afterall hes rated by imran cos he saw him decimate waqar in the nets bowling at his 100mph best back in 1990 without a helmet. He just sees it much earlier than anyone else and consequently always has bags of time. So he can afford the luxury to play the ball more late than anybody else.
 
YK must go on to make a ig hundred and Inzi should be targeting 200 +

I am so glad we won the toss. Our batsmen need to score big here. 450 minimum for the 1st innings. Salam noddy bhai....hows the local food?

Not treating him well obviously as he's had to rush to the bathroom for an extended period

I was left biting my foot in the second test because we were in a similar position but 600 is very much on the cards if these guys stay till close of play.. Thats what they should aim for.

If we score 600 we can put pressure on Indians.
 
These guys have broken our best partnership record against India in test matches. Previous was 246 by Hanif and Saeed Ahmed. (45 years ago!)

U, we hope that spins takes earlier than expected and that Inzi sets aggressive fields for Kaneria and Arshad
 
Comma Answer is simple. We'll all have to get on the spiky shoes (fashon lesson from beloved D. Kartitkh) and do the bhangra (dance lesson from beloved Chuckdaar singh) ^-!
 
so the pitch is expected to spin sage? looks dead rt now. Inzi's captaincy will play a hell of a role I suspect.

Just get Inzi to run down the pitch a few times. If that does not break up the pitch, bugger all will.
 
well in that case, let us hope for the best. pak should look to make a huge score from here onwards, anything short of 450 would be criminal and worthy of a public lynching

Hopefully our big score will put pressure on the indian batsmen and the wicket will start doing things.
 
Yes our bowlers havent had the luxury of a big score for some time. Let's see if it makes a difference.
 
Sachin quite a decent googly, which Inzamam in the past has not always picked.
 
I think our bowlers will be more confident specialy danish n with support from arshad hopefully we can turn the table on the indians. Sami looked pretty good in the last test in the 2nd innings and razzaq has been bowling well as well.

The pitch is said to be dead for 3-4 days and might turn but no one is really sure..so batting should be pretty easy...we really need to make a big score here and put some pressure on the indians.
 
Smart decision to bring on Tendulkar...he's quite dangerous with the ball as well.
 
if arshad indeed can tie things down, that should help more so, 450 minimum is the thought of the hr for now
 
Jus hope theses bat tomm in the morning session and dont do a kolkkatta.
India knows itand world knows when Top order perfom for PAkistan a collapse is jus ard the corner.Hope that doesnt happen inshalllah

Should Arshad play a defensive role and let the other bowlers attack or should he be allowed to attack in tandem?
 
he should attack as well unless things really go wrong for us. who knows how good he really is so if he attacks we'll get a better idea also more chances of him picking up wickets as they might watching out for danish but might fall to arshad plus they aren't well known to play off spinners that well.
 
400s a bit too less , we need to preferrably BAT till almost the end of day 2 and take a wicket before the close of that day. THat's ideal. however many runs are up there will be good enough if we bat for that long, wether it be 500 or 600.
 
not sure what kind of a bowler arshad is, but if DM's word is to be taken as gospel then arshad would be better off tying things down at one end and give Kan a free hand to attack
 
ya not wellknown to pick up offspinners except massacre @ 1st test in Pakistan.

I think as always with the pacers lie the key to pick up wicket of the opener, because that SETS the stage for the rset of the bowelrs. ofcourse that didn't go in india's favor today as they picked up 2 wickets but Afridi is always a freebie and hameed is being toyed around with by management like he's some kind of... well, toy.

Sami inshallah will come thru for us

Gang is worried that at 120Kph from Pathani baba , Inzi will demolish whatevers left of the bowling....maybe Kumble can take the new ball ?
 
what is always interesting to note is they refer to pahtan and blaji as 'fast bowlers' and sami as medium pacer. morons!
