2. The phashth bowling "attack" Got spanked for 550 runs by BD in return and making them chase leather for 2 days lol
3. Then on the same pitch which every Pakistani fan was cursing to be a boring dead pitch they crash and burn to 146 allout when all they had to do was tuk-tuk. But Pretty sure one of the paindoos was asking why we cant use the 4 wkts from the 1st inngs that we did not use lol
4. Then to make matters further worse the BD openers rattled off the 30 runs in a few overs with more than sessions worth of play remaining making for one of crickets most histerical scorecards where a cocky captain declared under 450 with 4 wkts in hand and ended up losing by 10 wkts. He should be thankful to Rizwan or else this could have been a innings defeat that would have been Pure comedy gold.

They came pretty close to beating us in one of the Tests in Bangladesh where spinners had a lot of assistance. Chennai and kanpur are traditionally spin friendly, so you never know.

But India is much stronger than we were in 2022 with the arrival of Jaiswal, Jurel, Sarfaraz and Gill finding form. I see nothing other than a 2-0.

I would think they defo have a chance. There is a big myth that indian batsmen are diamond against oppo spinners. But we have spectacularly unravelled on quite a few occasions, cue Lyon and O'keepfe in 2017, kunhemaan, swepson in 2023, Hartley, bashir, ahmad in 2024....heck even guys like Root, moeen bhai and mumbai ka Ejaz patel have filled their bowling boots against us. September in Chennai will be hot and humid , kanpur will be hot and dry. BD have Mehidi, shakib and throw in Taijul - who gave us headache in 2023 Bd series...it won t be a cake walk as a lot of guys here are thinking. in all the hai tauba for Pak loosing, one thing that has gone missing is that BD look like a changed side. The way they carried themselves in pak series was one of never backing away, were full of fight and spirit. There is defo improvement in them individually as well as collectively and i am hoping Gambo, morkel, Hitman, VK and other guys dont become too over confident

out of the 4 u named, i doubt if more than two will make it to the 15 leave alone final XI. But yes, Jaiswal at the top if he fires, lends a different dimension to our side.

Why do Indian batsmen have 0% skill and 0% talent vs the moving ball? It is not like they don’t have exposure to lateral movement.

They have state of the art facilities and GOAT bowlers like Bumrah who move the ball miles so they get ample practice as well.

However, as I mentioned in the other thread, these are the signs of a faltering unit. The World Cup final, the humiliation in Sri Lanka, the 100/17 at home. The first time India have lost two Tests at home in the same year since 2012.

Indian cricket is going back to the 2000s level and Gambhir is not the right man to arrest that decline and keep up the momentum that India developed under Shastri in particular.

You always have to look and see what India achieved during their era of dominance. Very little.

Indian fans should look back with a lot of regret because nothing stopped them from winning at least two ODI WCs, a WTC and a series win in ENG/NZ/SA except for their own lack of talent and application.
