I am hoping Liverpool finish top four but I suspect they will be main title challengers again so I'll plump for 2nd.
Not much is being said about them but I think Spurs could make a fist of it especially if Kane stays. Ange is known for aggressive attacking football which could make them a dark horse.
Top four I think will be City, Liverpool, United and Spurs. Should be a good fight though with Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea eyeing the top four as well.
Am I tempting fate by claiming Arteta is the next Pep?)
Man City and Arsenal will definitely battle for the top two. They are comfortably clear of everyone else.
It is laughable to see people suggest that Liverpool will finish above Arsenal. The delusional is comical.
Liverpool, United and Chelsea should make it to the UCL. Spurs will have a strong season under Postecoglou, he is an underrated manager.
Newcastle’s league campaign will suffer because of the UCL, but they along with Spurs should definitely be in contention for Europa.
Man City vs Arsenal promises to be a spectacle. It will be interesting to see how City respond after winning the treble.
It is common for treble-winning teams to experience a drop in intensity the following season. It is very difficult to maintain those standards, plus the departure of Gundogan and possibly Bernardo will definitely impact them.
Arsenal have significantly strengthened their first XI after a brilliant window so far. The best objective is to beef up the squad.
The 2023-24 season is shaping up to be a classic.
Timber deal agreed. Another top signing. Edu continues to egg his haters in the face.
Arsenal are all set for next season provided that Partey stays. If he leaves, they will sign a replacement (Lavia).
Now it is time to focus on outgoing transfers. The Balogun situation needs to be resolved ASAP. If he doesn’t have the heart to stay and fight for his place and showcase his ability in the League Cup, he should be sold.
Arsenal is ready. Arsenal means business.
Stop sitting on the fence everyone has given a proper prediction apart from you acting like a coward again with your top 2 non sense.
Also how exactly is Liverpool finishing above Arsenal delusional? Arsenal have finished above Liverpool once in 1st time in ages. Liverpool have had the occasional drop off season recently and bounced back.
Arsenal have had 1 good season in 7 years that does not constitute a powe shift. 2 or 3 seasons of finishing above Liverpool or Chelsea does.
) Edu for 1st time has done his job, yet again your doing bhangra again.
So the incompetent DOF final becomes competent.
Mamoon the king of celebrating mediocrity
Let's see how many free give aways Edu gives on sales
When Edu fails, he is criticized for being incompetent.
When Edu succeeds, he should not be praised because he is doing what he is supposed to.
This is what agendas look like. Pep should not be praised for winning the UCL with City because this is what he was hired for and he failed 6 times before delivering. He should not be praised for achieving what he was supposed to.
I'll go for 5th.
Of course I would love someone who can get you 20-25 goals. I said before Jesus joined that he won't score enough goals but he brings so much else to the table and frees up our midfield to score goals.
In Martinelli, Sakha and Odeguard & Troussard we have enough goals in this team.
I think we've had a very good start to this transfer window.
Rice was always my first pick and glad we finally got him. Did we pay too much? Yes probably, but then if we lost him to someone else then some fans here would be saying we dithered around and couldn't get the deal over the line. I see Rice as a box to box number 8 and he would slot right in to Xhaka's role very nicely. He's PL ready, a leader on the pitch and touchwood not injury prone like Partey. Plus he's still young and with good coaching will only get better.
If we can get Timber over the line then its already been a superb window for us.
Wow you just get more and more senile with every post.
If Edu in past seasons hadn't fumbled every single big transfer, and had succeeded with a few then people wudnt see an issue
When he's messed evert single big deal up until now why should he get praise?
Topspin tried to simplify it to you so you could understand.
It's like Shan masood continuing to play test cricket for Pakistan and failing again and again and then 50 tests later he gets a double hundred at MCG vs Aussies, would that deserve praise?
In regards to Pep failing in CL before last season, yes he was a failure because of resources he had he should have won it. Personally I think to really prove himself he should be winning a few times more with team he's got.
Yup, this is my gut prediction, Arsenal will not even finish in the top 4 next season.
There's no World Cup 'bump' next season.![]()
So what's the prediction or "decree" Mamoon for next season where Arsenal will finish? Amjid Javed topspin Rana IMMY69 Firebat KingKhanWC Abdullah IAJ WengerOut The_KING Geordie Ahmed Technics 1210 shaz619 SpiritOf1903 anyone else I've missed feel free to post your prediction.
Past seasons don’t have any relevance. These are different Arsenal and Liverpool teams. A lot has changed for both teams.
Except City, no team is in a better position than Arsenal right now in terms of squad strength, average age of the players, future potential etc.
Arsenal mounted a title challenge with the youngest squad in the league. That is no small feat.
A lot can change for City in the next couple of years as well. The core of their squad is getting old. They have deep pockets and Pep but there is no guarantee that the replacements of Gundogan, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Walker, Mahrez etc. will be as effective.
Arsenal’s core is only entering its peak now. This is an extremely exciting time to be an Arsenal supporter but some people are incapable of putting their agendas aside and enjoying this moment.
When Arteta and Edu started working together in 2019, no one expected Arsenal to be where they are today in terms of how the squad is shaping up.
No one expected the Kroenkes to approve £100m transfers and splash the cash like this.
My prediction.

Go have a look at all the different sports franchises and teams the kronkes have have got. Initially every single one of them were mediocre to say the least. Why?
Because the kronkes were using every single one as "an investment vehicle" they had no real interest in trying to win, just doing things on the cheap and seeing if they some how got lucky. Very quickly the penny dropped! If you want to win you have to invest.
Now look at how much money kronkes have put into their sports teams and now every single one apart from Arsensl have won a league title in their respective sports.
So the no one expected kronkes to "approve 100M" ain't a shock because they full well without investing they ain't winning
After two seasons finishing 8th, covid etc.. kronkes realised Arsenal ain't making as much money as they wanted and clubs value was decreasing. Also the whole super league shambles they had no choice to put money into what at time was a club hemraging money.
The 200M spent so far in this window has come from last seasons earnings, increasesd season ticket prices, increased shirt prices and expected CL money. So all the kronkes are doing is "approving the club to spend money its generated" its coming from the kronkes pocket.
Josh kronke has already said after this summer he wants to go back to "self sustaining model" which clearly shows they ain't prepared to real dip in their pockets all time. It was only done due to then having no choice but to do it few seasons back.
Serves them right the lack of ambition for all those years and sponging of wenger getting them top 4.
My prediction.

Havertz will play the same role that Odegaard does with Rice sitting in the base. It is a world class midfield and miles better than anything Liverpool will field next season..
Same role as oddegard so he will dissapear in the physically tough games.
That means vs man city, Rice will be playing on his own as oddegard dissapeared in both fixtures. So havertz playing same role will dissapear as well.
This will not be any better than your prediction that Haaland will struggle in the Premier League.
You know that too but you enjoy the humiliation. Or so I hope.
Yes just like De Bruyne ran away from two UCL finals.
Mamoon, just make the prediction, Arsenal will end up in the top 20 of the EPL.)

You'd be Madrids puppy, I hope you get them in the group stage.
Villa, Notts Forest, Newcastle, West Ham and even Ipswich have won more European trophies than Arsenal.)
You claimed he is a great defensive midfiedler. We are talking about real football not FIFA on PS5. Havertz only had 31 tackles and 7 interceptions all last season.

Arsenal was better than all these teams before the window started. Today, Arsenal has only increased the gap further by doing brilliant business early in the window.
Not a single team has been able to close the gap between themselves and Arsenal.
There is no possibility of Arsenal finishing outside the top two.
Can I ask what narcotics you have been taking today?
I have a lot of time for your posts but predicting Spurs finishing above Arsenal in the 23/24 is perhaps the most delusional thing I've ever read on a football thread.
So what's the prediction or "decree" Mamoon for next season where Arsenal will finish? Thanks, naturally a Gunner isn't going to agree as Spurs are their main rivals and I totally get that. But there is a method to my reasoning even if it looks delusional.
I'm not saying it will definitely happen but I think there is a chance as I don't see Arsenal performing as well as they did this season and Spurs will have the new manager bounce
Also partly because Mamoon is getting over excited and doing bhangra again after his hiatus from this thread and I wanted to put Spurs in ahead of Arsenal in the top four to ruffle a few feathers.
I'm happy that a lot of tomatoes and eggs were saved from wastage. I know there is hyper inflation in Pakistan that is hurting the average consumer same as the cost of living crisis here in UK.

I am not an Edu lover because I accept his shortcomings. Edu has done a really good job with incoming transfers but he has been poor at selling players. The last time Arsenal did a good job with selling players is when they rinsed Everton in the Iwobi deal in 2019. A deeply mediocre player like Iwobi was clearly not worth £40 million but that crook Raul did a great job in negotiating the terms with Everton.
Ever since Edu has taken charge of Arsenal's transfers, most of the players have been sold for peanuts.
The problem with Edu haters is that they refuse to give him any credit at all. They always have an explanation for why someone else or some other factors deserve credit not Edu.
It is not black or white. Edu has not been sent from the heavens and neither is he the spawn of the devil. The reality is that he is somewhere in between. He has done a more than decent job overall and has been able to construct a title-challenging squad.
Anyone who thinks Edu has had no role to play in Arsenal's revival is obviously a hater with an agenda.
Furthermore, we need to understand that there is no such thing as Edu's targets. Arteta is Arsenal's long-term manager and he is not going anywhere. The barking of impatient Arsenal fans and rival fans has absolutely no bearing on how Arteta is viewed internally.
At no point during his tenure as Arsenal coach has Arteta been remotely close to getting the sack. The media would manufacture stories at different points when Arsenal were struggling but they did not have a shred of truth.
This is why he was handed a new contract at a time when Arsenal had hit rock-bottom and people wanted his head on a stick.
The Arsenal board have been clear since day one: Arteta is the man to revive Arsenal and take them forward and the club would do everything within its power to back him. Piece by piece, brick by brick, Arsenal have been rebuilding the squad since 2020.
It has not been a revolution but an evolution. Revolutions don't always work as we saw with Chelsea who spent an insane amount of money in one window and only got worse.
Mudryk was never Edu's target. Edu doesn't have any targets. His only target is to deliver the players that Arteta wants. As I have explained many times, every buyer club puts a price on a player and they do not go beyond the max price if the seller club doesn't agree.
Arsenal did not think that Mudryk was worth the price Shakhtar was asking for and they walked away from that deal.
As far as the January window is concerned, overspending in January would have impacted Arsenal's plans for the summer. Declan Rice was always the prime target for the summer and the fact that Arsenal will be spending over £250 million in this window is no coincidence. This has been a carefully orchestrated plan and this is why the January window was compromised.
But the fans see things differently because they don't see the work that goes on behind the scenes and they are not aware of the long-term plans. In January, it was not public information that Arsenal will be splashing the cash in the summer and signing players for £100m. As a result, the fans reacted to what they saw, i.e. the club was appearing to lack urgency in the January window. It was lacking urgency because it was preparing for the summer.
Arsenal acted swiftly with Havertz because unlike Rice, Havertz had no clear preference for Arsenal. He just wanted to leave Chelsea and both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were monitoring him. Arteta identified him as a key signing and it was a golden opportunity to get hold of him, hence they acted quickly.
On the other hand, Arsenal always held the cards in the Rice saga because he made it clear that Arsenal was his preferred destination. As I explained previously, no club offers its max price in the first bid because it becomes a 'take it or leave it' situation and the club loses negation power.
I am the Sporting Director of Club X and you are the Sporting Director of Club Y. You have a player that I want. You put a price of £100m on the player and my club agrees that they won't pay more than £100m for the said player.
If I make a £100m offer in the first bid, you now hold all the cards. I have no negotiating power anymore. If you say no, I will have to walk away from the deal.
On the contrary, if you ask for £100m and I start by offering £75m, there is a better chance that you will accept my £100m bid on the second or third attempt because now the deal is dragging out and you also have pending transfers that depend on getting this deal through, plus you are also creating unrest in the player's camp. This is all part of negotiating tactics.
Arsenal always had a fairly strong idea of the figure that West Ham would accept but you never offer that figure immediately. It doesn't work like that.
Man City also knew their bid was going to be binned, but they were waiting for Arsenal's third bid and they immediately walked away because they were not going to match it for a player who didn't want to join them in the first place. Meanwhile, Arsenal took its time to submit the third bid because they wanted to make an offer that City would not be able to better and that is exactly what happened. Arsenal blew City out of the water.

)
Once again, please don’t comment on things you have no clue about.
This “minnow level” striker has 24 goals in 25 games for a team like Norway that is not even ranked in the top 40 and has just one quality player (Odegaard) besides Haaland.
Haaland is as good in international football as he is in club football. He is just terribly unlucky to be playing for a team like Norway.
He would win numerous Golden Boots and most probably break all World Cup goal scoring records if he was playing for a proper team.
It is laughable to suggest that Liverpool, United, Chelsea etc. would finish above Arsenal next season.
Arsenal was better than all these teams before the window started. Today, Arsenal has only increased the gap further by doing brilliant business early in the window.
Not a single team has been able to close the gap between themselves and Arsenal.
There is no possibility of Arsenal finishing outside the top two.
Champions League Footy and Conference League victory would be a dream season for us) imo both within reach although may seem farfetched.
LFC have shown during the final 1/4 of last season that they still have the character and it wouldn’t shock me if they are contenders next season
Haaland and oddegard are both mediocre at international level, the fact they even struggle to qualify for euro competitions whilst other smaller nations do says it all. Stop using his nationality as an excuse saying he's unlucky because he's Norwegian.
His team got humilated at home to Scotland.
Yet another humiliation for captain oddegard as well.
I'm glad you acknowledge Edu's shortcomings because he has too many of them. I could never imagine him making £40m out of Iwobi.
Raul was indeed a crook for what he did to bring Pepe to Arsenal but credit to him for making a mockery out of Everton for signing one of our bums.
The reason why Edu has been sold for peanuts shows two things. Firstly, he's not a natural negotiator because he's clearly not a salesman/businessman. Secondly, he lacks commercial awareness and this can be reflected by the fact he's got not no knowledge of the current market value of players or he's got no confidence in himself to convince other sides to buy players at their market value. This is the minimum I expect from a Sporting Director/Chief negotiator . The best in the business can convince teams to acquire their players for more than what they're worth. I can't envisage Edu pulling off what Raul did with Iwobi.
The fact that you're aware of these things shows to me that you know deep down, he's not good enough but you would rather blind follow him because you're rather superstitious about his presence at Arsenal. It's as if you've got this perception of him as good charm.
I take your point about avoiding overspending in the January TW however you can always try to find loan deals or players near the end of their contract. For squad depth, we should've focused more on Trossard and Jorginho type of signings.
Also, don't forget Vlahovic as well. That was another Edu masterclass.
I accept Havertz is a player that is hugely admired by Arteta but if I'm in Edu's shoes and I can't get him for £30m - £40m, I'll happily walk away from the deal if another club wants to throw £50m+ at him. You can't be overpaying for a struggling player who is low in form and confidence. I tell you what I would've done instead, spent £80m-£90m to acquire Kudus and Maddison. I would much rather have Maddison on the bench with Kudus starting alongside with Odegaard and Rice.
I understand how bids are structured. I have no problem with "haggling" but I say this again, in respect of the flat fee you can't make your second bid lower than your first bid. Even a kid at a car boot sale knows better than that.
You dug a hole and you now you are digging. Please don’t embarrass yourself further. Please admit that you were unaware of Haaland’s brilliant record for Norway, thank me for educating you and move on.
All this nonesense about Edu.
Edu should never be judged on his ability to negotiate a price for buying or selling a player.
Arsenal FC have a team of lawyers and negotiators who handle this with the Kroenks overseeing every deal like hawks. Edu is the man who works closely with the team management, takes their advice on what the team needs and then identifies players and then, on the recommendation of the team management, goes out to buy and/or sell a player.
He is almost a talent spotter and a front man.
You dug a hole and you now you are digging. Please don’t embarrass yourself further. Please admit that you were unaware of Haaland’s brilliant record for Norway, thank me for educating you and move on.
Was wondering when excuses would start being rolled out, didn't take long .
Though you were leaving this thread last week? Instead doing fake Pakistani cricketer type retirement
Arsenal couldn't be handed an easier opening PL campaign with two home games against Nottingham Forest and Fulham with an away game to Crystal Palace sandwiched in between during August.
They will have to maximise this opportunity as fixtures get progressively tougher during Sept and Oct. We may see certain individuals hiding behind doors again during this period.
Last season Arsenal went ahead unnoticed but teams will be aware of them now so they could still trip up in August but should be expected to dispatch the teams above.
Never mind Arsenal's fixture, whether it's united, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle all these teams are going to have to get off to a flyer.
Unlike last season City ain't getting off to a slow start, City will pretty much win all 7 of those and be already clicked into gear by time they play the big sides.
Man city's fixtures
Burnley (A)
Newcastle (H)
Sheffield utd (A)
Fulham (H)
West ham (A)
Forrest (H)
Wolves (A)
So any bedding in period for Arsenal, Liverpool, United etc.. pretty much can't happen at start of season.
Yup and that's the main point, any team harbouring ambitions to win the league will need to get off to a flier to have any chance against City. They usually lose a few games during first half of season but then go into turbo mode from Jan onwards.
This is not guaranteed though and City could well hit the ground running as evidenced by those opening fixtures.
Was wondering when excuses would start being rolled out, didn't take long .
Though you were leaving this thread last week? Instead doing fake Pakistani cricketer type retirement
The scary thing about City is last season they got off to a slowish start compared to other seasons, while Pep was tinkering with his team.
Even with that City didn't drop points in consecutive league games until they had won title (Brighton / brentford)
City at home they pretty much smash everyone
Away from home they only won 1 out of 9 away games vs Top 9 PL sides. They ain't going to be as poor away from home next season.
Won't be shocked if City set centurion type points total again
Losergaard not only has the medal for bottling league title but also being humilated as Norway captain.
Same goes for Haaland.
Even small nations like Iceland make it to euros etc..
Both players should be ashamed at their international achievements which are minnow level.
Again, please stop digging. There is only so much two players can do. Norway are extremely weak overall and they have a non-existent defense.
Without Haaland and Odegaard, they would struggle to rank in the top 80. They have zero talent outside these two superstars.
Please admit you weren’t aware of Haaland’s record for Norway. Don’t embarrass yourself further.
City don’t need their own fans when you have “Arsenal fans” meat-riding them before the season has started.
Any chance of keeping a hold of Partey? surely he can play as cover for CDM or CB?
City don’t need their own fans when you have “Arsenal fans” meat-riding them before the season has started.
There is a good chance. Let’s see what happens.
As per the latest updates, he is reluctant to go to Saudi and other European clubs are interested but he is not willing accept a pay cut, and they are not willing to meet the wages Arsenal is paying him.
Partey as backup would be huge. Bring him on later in the games to protect the lead alongside Rice would be fantastic.
Nonetheless, Arteta and Edu will have a plan in place even if he decides to leave.
Any chance of keeping a hold of Partey? surely he can play as cover for CDM or CB?
Partey as a back upcomedy gem, the guy was Arsenal best midfielder for 2/3rds of season. But when manager struggles to rotate players effectively its no wonder some player were flagging at end of season. Same happened with saka.
But when manager is incapable of squad management at end of season its no shock players form dipped
He's just being realistic, they probably will meat ride everyone else with some tomatoes to spare. Arsenal found this to their cost when they had the audacity to go out in front, they got meat rided in the end for their troubles.
TBF, a lot of fans of City are tourists, out with their phones taking selfies in middle of games and sat in their chair clapping goals in CL finals.
says the Arteta meat-riding fan boy.
Anyone would think the club was called Bhangra for Arteta FC rather then Arsenal
Arsenal fans should support and back Arteta for the way he has revived the club and turned them into genuine title contenders.
Arsenal is back. It is because of Arteta that Arsenal now have the clout to attract players like Rice who snubbed City for Arsenal.
Without Arteta, Arsenal would still be scraping for a top 6 finish with overpaid, disinterested lazy players.
Arteta has changed the rotten culture of the club and brought life back to the Emirates.
Arsenal fans who are still criticizing him and want him sacked and those meat-riding City are an embarrassment.
Partey is not better than Rice and he cannot play alongside him in the #8 position because that is where Havertz is going to play.
So yes, his days as a starter are over and this is why he is looking to leave the club because he is good enough to start for a lot of decent teams.
It is in Arsenal’s best interests to keep him because it is a luxury to have a player like him as backup, allowing Rice to get a breather and also tweak tactics when Arsenal are looking to shut down the position.
City will not carry on forever. A lot of teams hit the wall after achieving a treble because the intensity drops. The departure of Gundogan will also have an influence. They might lose Bernardo as well and their core is not getting any younger.
Based on the transfers in this window, the gap between Arsenal and City is actually reducing. Arsenal was weaker than they are now before the window opened; City were stronger than they are now before the window opened.
There is no reason for Arsenal fans to meat-ride City especially after Arsenal whooped City’s backside in the Rice transfer saga.
Scrapping top 6 finish?under Arteta finished 8th twice. You definitely have been meat-riding Arteta every day and twice on Sunday. Delusion at its finest.
Who says Rice and Partey can't play together? Wow this is before your musy stupid Post in this thread. Any two good players can play together as long as the manager is good enough to put them in a system where they can connect.
Now your meat-riding havertz like he's prime Lothar matteus/ Franz Beckenbauer
Bhangra for arteta
Bhangra for havertz
Bhangra for mediocrity
![]()
Clutching at straws, City have freshed up their team and moved players all the time. That's why they are signing gavidol and will bring in other midfielders, fresh hungry players.
United after winning treble won another 2 titles (3-peat) so your so called after a treble comments is stupidity at its finest
Pep / city always plan ahead in regards to fleshing team up they have let aguero, Silva, kompany, yaya go and replaced them
Get your prayer mat out for shitvertz and fraudeta as Arsenal are going to find City even tougher this season
It wasn't a case of Rice snubbing City, he wasn't really a priority for them and could easily have just ended up another Kalvin Phillips. Right thing to do pulling out as it would have been a waste of 100 million bucks.
My last post in this thread before the forum shuts down.
God willing, I will be back in May 2024 if the forum is up and running by then and if I am alive.
I will be back with a bag full of rotten tomatoes and eggs. I will remember each and everything each and every person has said in this thread.
For example, Arsenal will not finish in the top two, Liverpool will finish above Arsenal, Havertz will flop etc. I shall remember all of this.
It has been clear since day one that Arteta has a long-term plan. It was a slow and painful process but those Arsenal fans who had patience and vision could see that he was building something special.
Last season was a glimpse of what Arsenal under Arteta is capable of. He has transformed Arsenal into title contenders and by the time he is done, Arsenal would be multiple time league winners and hopefully win the Champions League too. The next 5-6 years will be incredible.
I did not say they cannot play together. I said they will not play together. I cannot teach you English if you cannot comprehend the difference between the two statements.
Arteta bought Havertz to play as a #8. He has the technical and physical attributes to thrive in this role. He has been used as a forward by Chelsea and Germany but Arteta views him as a midfielder.
Odegaard and Rice are automatic starters and he didn’t sign Havertz as a backup. He will also be a starter, which means that if Partey stays, he will provide cover for Rice and will be used as a substitute when Arteta tweaks the formation and opts for more defensive solidity to close out games.
For example, subbing Havertz for Partey in the 75th minute as Arsenal look to protect the deal and shut up shop on the opposition by utilizing a more defensive approach. It gives Arteta a lot of flexibility and options.
Kovacic is not an upgrade on Gundogan. Gundogan has the knack of scoring crucial goals and turning up in key moments. It is something that Kovacic will fail to replicate. Bernardo also might leave and players like him are very hard to replace.
Gvardiol is a great signing but he cannot compensate for the loss of Gundogan and the fact that players like De Bruyne, Haaland, Grealish, Walker, Ederson, Stones, Dias etc. might have a drop off especially after they won the treble.
No team has won the PL 4 times in a row. It is very difficult to sustain the intensity. City winning the league next season is not a foregone conclusion and Arsenal is the biggest threat to their dominance.
Rice made it clear that he prefers to join Arsenal. City meat-riders and Arsenal haters can live in denial if they wish to, but it will not change the reality.
People are used to English players bending over backwards to join City, it is shocking for them to see Rice not twerk for them, but he has shown more character than Sterling, Stones, Grealish, Walker, Phillips combined by not taking the easy route to success by joining the most powerful club in the country, that too after they just did the treble.
Rice’s decision has certainly ruffled a few feather and bruised a few egos.
City pulled out because they knew that even if they match Arsenal’s third bid, Arsenal will have the upper hand because Rice wants to join them.
Arsenal bodied City with their third bid. City knew it was over because they weren’t going to pay more than what Arsenal were offering especially for a player who sees City as second choice.
The fact that players like Rice want to join Arsenal is only possible because of the work Arteta has done. He has transformed the image of the club and restored its appeal.
Mamoon had his chance with the rotten tomatoes and eggs, it wouldn’t count this time not that it will be needed just like last time.
