I agree. I was just responding to certain posters who try to ridicule players before they've even had any sort of impact good or bad.

As usual when challenged they back off. So I'll continue to respond to them.

Ultimately time will tell who does better however it doesn't really matter as you say cos the only fans who will be happy are the ones that win something.

And I don't really care much for comparisons

Maybe end of the season we can revisit and see how they both got on.

My 1st choice was Isak. But if you offered me Eze and Gyokores for the same amount I wouldn't be disappointed either.

Solid point about the price difference. Isak ended up costing Liv a lot. They didn’t care but that was a lot of money spent.

Isak is a better all-round player than Gyokeres. There's no doubt about this.

As goal scorers, time will tell.

Gyokeres has a superior goal scoring record than Isak for Sweden but you could argue the new Liverpool signing doesn't get the same opportunities to score goals like Gyokeres does, as he plays just behind him as a support striker in a 4-4-2.

They are now both playing in the PL where the pressure and expectation to deliver week in and week out is always going to be a challenge. How they fare in the league will be the acid test.
