Australia defeat India by 3 wickets in the 3rd ODI

Half the score in half the overs. Looks like the series will be decided today.
 
Commentators rightly saying dropping Ash was brave here wonder if Dhoni read the pitch well.

Unless Maxwell plays a blinder it looks unlikely Aussies can get the target

I think they are not upto the task and were being hidden by Smith, Bailey etc

We have a chance but have to get Maxi out but as usual instead of putting pressure ,bowling changed for new batsman and pressure is released.

Its turning a lil and there is bounce Jad enjoying it.
 
Maxwell is mindblowing at times :four too much time for him to play his shot.

Watched Gurukeerat bowl a bit. WHAT THE HELL MAN. Dude is just floating the ball and still didn't get carted. 2 proper spinners here would have made Aussie life tougher but the strategy to drop Ashwin has its merits cos Gurukeerat can bat.

Please let's get atleast 1 win.

This is our golden chance.

Ashwin should've played in place of Rishi Dhawan. Dont really rate him either as batsman or bowler.

India should invest in some decent bowlers if they want to be taken seriously on non doctored pitches.

He still has hair on his face which is a good thing, otherwise he would look like a shaved peach which is something I don't want to see on HD, thnkuverymuch.

I don't think this Sran guy is upto it... read a stat earlier that he has bowled TWO balls in the whole series that would have hit the stumps. What the hell? :sree

Dhoni was getting carted around for the 2 spinner strategy so had to make changes.

Sran was the culprit here anyways.

Dhoni's thinking was that Ashwin is not going to be a gamechanger here so I might as well use Gurukeerat's off spin and his batting to salvage a bad situation. It will be cruel if we lose the match by a close margin and Ashwin's contribution would have made us get over the line.

Its a tough decision no matter what he chose.

He's too good to bowl balls that hit the stumps. He wants to get most of his wickets from batsmen getting out hit wicket after falling over on their own stumps after a hearty laugh. Master Deceiver bowler this.

:out Yadav is brilliant at field easily the best fielder who is a bowler from India.
 
Said it earlier, it's difficult to chase at the MCG.

Don't think 300 has ever been chased here.
