Australians always give opportunities to those with special talents rather than waiting for them to become a complete products. Warne was selected to the national team after playing 6 first class matches and he didn't even know half the team mates' name.
First ball I saw from one of the best left hand bowlers of this gen was at 131kph..
There was a thread comparing Starc, Amir and Paris, asking which is the best left arm bowler of this era.
You expect a 23 year old to bowl in the 150s?

Lol Rohit is the best ODI Batsmen in the worldLOL Rohit's isnt any better. You wouldn't say this if you had watched him long enough.
Scores tons for fun in India but overseas gifts away his wicket for free

About time a team thumps Aussies in Australia.![]()
How quick? Just seen his last few overs and all the deliveries I've glanced at have been around 130kph.He's bowled faster than this before.
Unfortunately I can't see India winning even if we score around 270 runs.. Warner, Finch, Smith, Bailey, Maxwell, Marsh, Wade and Faulkner. All it takes is just one of them to have half a good day and we'll be done.
True but don't jump the gun yet. India's spearheads are Sran and BK. Aussies will probably be 100/0 in 10 just to show NZ that they can do it too
Wth...who is this Barinder? Never heard of him.![]()
No, but you'd at least expect a player to have played a decent number of international games before even being considered. There is no rule you have to be 150 km/h to get that honor.
Why are you even hoping? India is losing this series. 100 per cent.
Lol Rohit is the best ODI Batsmen in the world
As an opener both his home and away records are exceptional.
Thanks Sherlock, and where did I 'hope'? I was mentioning the obvious. Go read again
Wasim is being annoying. Speaking about how Pakistan used to get 62 for 3 or 4 wickets down. Totally ignoring the fact that the pitch is a flat patta and not what aussies pitches used to be.

Sorry I meant best ODI opener .Best thoda zaada hogya, 2nd best se kaam chala lo, Rohit ain't better than AB yet
No need to get offended. Reality is what keeps us sane.
Pakistanis don't need "flat Pattas" to be 3 or 4 down)
He is being realistic. Pakistan would have been 5 down by now, they are World no.8 for a reason.

Lol. That is true as well.

Geoff Marsh. How does mitchell marsh manages to get in the aussie team? Guy cant bowl to save his life. His short pitch bowl was laughable. Aussies pitches have gone down the gutter for sure.
Reality keeps you sane, good to know that you are not fully insane yet

I think on a flat patta like this pitch even Pakistan would be able to save some grace.
Geoff Marsh.
A lot of people prefer Rohit's classic batting as compared to AB's tulley-baazi style. The fact that Rohit opens and sets the tone of the match goes in his favor too.
I am team AB myself, but some people going with Rohit is understandable.
Hussey, Hayden and Voges would disagree

What was so special about them when they were 20 ?
The problem is with intent.
We might be only 1 down but it would be 10 overs 18-1![]()

The thread earlier suggested he was much quicker than 130 clicks (most of the deliveries I've glanced at have been around this range). You expect a 23 year old to bowl in the 150s?
AB and tulley baaz?![]()
Haha exactly.
To CAll AB de Villiers a "Tulley Baaz" is like one of those moments.....
AB and tulley baaz?![]()
Kev just said that Indians have a couple of bowlers that can bowl 140+ in the game. Is that Umesh and Sran? How fast is Sran?
yeah, almost as ridiculous as calling rizwan and harris better than rahane![]()

say hi.
Who on earth is sran?![]()
I take offense to calling Shezzy a hack.
The guy takes so long to complete his 50, that half the team is back to the pavilion before he gets there.
You have to give it to the Indian batsmen. Their approach to batting is pure masterclass. Full of confidence, aggressive approach, rotating the strike, and putting away the bad deliveries. Our batsmen (though highly talented) can really learn a thing or two from the boys in blue.

AB is anything but "tulley-baazi".
You need to see the guy bat in tests when required to defend.
He plays the way the game is supposed to go.
"Tulley Baaz" is someone like Afridi or Umar Akmal.
