If Imad can keep it tight here and keep Aussie's quiet for 10 or so over she, we'll be in a good position.

There is also a concept of line and length. Slower wide and short pitched deliveries wouldn't get you a wicket 9 out of 10 times. The only time it will get you a wicket is when the batsman plays a stupid shot.
 
Bring MoHa from other end - none of these pair likes to wait for the ball.
 
Imad's got potential to be our Dan Vettori in bowling ... very competent batsman to boot. Important for him to put up another strong showing this series after an excellent English summer.

Yes, its so stupid to question a bowler who goes for 10 runs an over. Had it been around 12-15 an over maybe we could discuss how rubbish he is but 10 runs an over seems pretty decent right and I'm just being stupid.
 
Hafeez gets through his overs quickly even for a spinner. A blessing for our team which struggles so much with over rates
 
Guys, i am liking Azhar Ali's captaincy today! Looks like he is learning quick..
Reminds me of our old days, applying the breaks & countering the aggression with spin.

There is a civilized way of discussing things and this isn't even remotely a civilized way.
 
Considering the lefties in Aussie line-up, Malik should return for Nawaz.
 
I am actually impressed with hafeez. Apart from his first over he hasn't bowled too badly

I was expecting him to be canon fodder after the action change.

Hopefully he can bowl like this the whole match.
 
If Hafeez rediscovers his suffocating spin form again, he'll become valuable again ... the only problem is that he should not be batting at 3 ... should come at 6 instead. His 10 overs of economical spin have been sorely missed.

Australia selected him, so I trust their eye for talent.

Imad Wasim is doing what Hafeez did before his bowling action was reported.
 
Now, bring Amir against Maxi & takeout MoHa. Maxi'll swing him with the spin. Amir might get him LBW.

Can never have too many economical bowlers. Hafeez, Imad, Nawaz can be really effective for us in LOIs, latter 2 replacing Ajmal & Lala. Just need to pair Amir with Junaid & Hasan and we have a complete attack for all conditions.
 
I have a feeling Aus will still score 250 from here.

Anything over 200 will be very hard for Pak.

Pak should not let Aus score more than 175 to have a chance at winning.
 
Imad should be in the team as all rounders in the Test team. bring the x factor missing in the test side.

Exactly there's no point investing in a 38 year old player we already have imad and nawaz who are fully committed player unlike drama queen hafeez who is going to get out cheaply and put pressure on our batting.
 
The problem is...we always look good initially in all ODIs...then end up losing the series 5-0
 
Imad Wasim and M. Amir were Pakistan's highest ODI wicket takers in 2016. 12 for both in 9 ODI's
