What's new

Australia v Pakistan | 1st ODI | Brisbane | Jan 13, 2017 | Australia Innings

I think Azhar should bowl pace from both end. These two generally struggle against pace.

Maxwell is a good player against spin but I don't think he can do same damage against fast bowlers. He does struggle.

Junaid needs to replace Wahab to further strengthen us. JK has a lot to offer and will shine once again

Tamashayion ka Ubharta Huwa Shor !! Magar Aik Bar Phir Mayuos Kun Gaind Bazi :(

Hasan with clever bowling, gets the big wicket of Maxwell just when he was looking to take the game away from us !!

This is what Pakistan needs more of, smartness.

Wahab has no brains and bowls at monotonous pace and length. Hassan has 2 wicks on 2 slower balls.

Smart and "tezz" cricketers are what we need.

Zabardast Tabeli, Maxwell apni Aqal say shot ka Muaina na karatay huway apni wicket Gawa bhetay.

Score

Aik Soh Satht per Chay Auot !!

Michael Clarke saying you have to change pace against Maxwell and it works. I wish we can get Clarkey as consultant to one of our PSL teams. He can bring that Australian mindset tour domestic players.

Now just knock over Faulkner and Wade fast, wrap it up under 200 somehow. Anything over 220 and it's going to be difficult under lights.

Hassan has shown more sense and purpose in his bowling than Wahab did this whole tournament. These experienced players are overrated.

Aus obv played a second strong of sorts but the top order was first choice.

india made enough runs against hastings, lyon and boland etc.

but australia were well equipped for the batting shootout and played the big boys

and the pitches were such that it was the batting which would decide

Our ODI team is average man, don't know why people are overrating it.. Our test team is very strong, not our LOI team. We have a top heavy batting line up but pis* poor lower middle and lower order. As a result, the team will make around 300 against most bowling attacks but 300 isn't enough these days when teams like England and Australia have bish bashers coming as low as no.8..

We dropped Raina for the ODI series and played trash players like Gurkeerat Singh Mann and Rishi Dhawan in the middle order in that series. Our middle order was Gurkeerat, Rishi Dhawan, Dhoni (past it) and Jadeja. No wonder we got our a** whooped every time on batting slogfests. We just couldn't match Australia's batting firepower. Maybe we could have lost 3-2 if we hadn't choked at Canberra, but that was the maximum ceiling of that team.

Coming back to serious cricket, it feels as if I am watching a game from the late 90s to be honest.

167 in 33 odd overs

good captaincy to bring nawaz on - marsh was reverse sweeping him, and he came on when the aussie innings was at its strongest. good decision to try to play him into some confidence.

hahaha, some of this Aussie batting has been terrible :)) Let's finish this off quickly now

"It's definitely much better"

as the screen shows a slow-mo replay of Hafeez chucking :))) :waqar
