Oh boohoo. Azhar has clearly shown that he can perform under pressure i.e. the Sri Lanka ton to save teh series in Jan 2014(?). He scored that under heaps of pressure. It's pure lack of ability which is causing him to struggle in ODIs.

It's clear that all this is is a surge of hormones for older, more 'senior' men who love to plod plod. Wouldn't be surprised if you advocate the play of Hafeez and would like Tanvir back too.

Have anyone noticed, instead of 369 (which has at least 35 from fielding), Babar actually is setting it up for a chase of around 330.......
 
Akmal giving the strike to Babar, whereas it should be him who goes big and let Babar stay there till the end.
 
On a serious note, very good knock by Babar... atleast someone from our ranks got a 100..

Its good if Babar plays till his century around 90ish sR and then ends the innings with a SR of over 100 ,nothing wrong in that considering ppl are complaining.

Its getting good, in that regard, Sharjeel the smacker-Babar the anchor ,Sarfaraz the finisher and other bit and pieces batsmen around to make Pakistan ready for Champ Trophy atleast but has to be without Azhar's captaincy.
 
Not a good way for him to get out, never looks good when you get out after making a 50 or 100, good innings nonetheless

This is where we really miss a lower order hitter. A power hitter coming in here would have given us a real chance to win this.

We won the World Cup... in just 36 overs..

It was a one sided tournmanent through out.. once Babar got in, there was no doubt we will win it even if we had our hands tied behind our back

Made him PAK Captain calling from outside & kept him there almost single handed for 2 years - what else do you want? Assurance - what ever, you are to toss till 2019.

Forget Captaincy - take out ZIM & BD - check Azhar's stats in ODI as Captain, in a time when he is in red hot form. Can you realize what he'll do when out of form?

Average of 32 @ 77, batting in PP as opener - this excluding today's 6 (8), which should bring that average below 30.

In ODIs Babar is more of a classy accumulator rather than heavy impact player. He needs somebody at the other end to tee off.

dude . Babar is the first pakistani player since 1981 to score a 100 again Australia in Australia .. give some credit where its due ...
 
Most Indian posters praising Babar. I have been even when he had very low strike rate. He finally end up near 100 strike rate.If only others did their job.

I also feel his perforamnce in Australia was below par... And I feel he has to go... don't think he is a bad captain, I feel the critics never wanted him in the side..
 
Someone should tell Umar that the off side squire boundary is also 58 metres ....
