Wow. Looks like RSA might get a lead or two in this innings :))

I doubt it - even if they make 340 ish - that'll be a bonus.

105.4 Johnson to Steyn, FOUR, edged and four! Steyn throws his bat at a wide one and the thick outside edge flies between gully and point to the third man boundary :))

Steyn getting 90% of the strike - hurry up JPD and get to 3 figures - I need some sleep!

"Gee whizz, you beauty...what a ripper" - Mark 'Gday' Nicholas.

2 consecutive straight drives for 4 by Steyn - on 47*

341-8

First time Ive really watched Mitch Johnson bowl in detail - very slingy action - almost 'round arm' at times :ijaz

'One man - one Wasp' - Mark 'gee Sheila' Nicholas

I just came online and can't believe the scorecard.

Link anyone?

347-8

Quality cricket being played - you can shove your ICL, IPL!!!

Steyn only dealing in boundaries!

350 up

100 /ship up!

355-8

I have an early start tomorrow.

Its 3.13am.

Its enthralling cricket!

This is getting embarrasing for Australia. First Zaheer khan and Harbhajan. Now this pair. Don't think Australia is going to win a Test in this series.

Australia better start chasing totals instead of setting. It is not working for them. They can hope SA setting a low target for the pitch.

Ian Chappell made a valid point. More than finger spinners, wrist spinners have been doing well in Australia.

Chappell is one of the very few 'great thinkers' of the game - stands apart from most ex-players who know no better than to shout banalities into a mic.

I see Michael Atherton being the next.

Seems to be an Aussie clone of Craig Macdermott bowling!!!

Didnt catch his name.

363-8 [116 overs] 31 behind Aus

Great crowd in - watching some great cricket

Since we're never going to give Asim kamal a chance, can we buy Duminy please?

I'm impressed by his temperament.

Dear me!

A simple catch dropped by the spin bowler - Hauritz? Very casual.

Well played Aleem Dar.

Worth noting his efforts also

Duminy gets his debut century!

Its what dreams are made of!

Good reception from the 31,000 MCG crowd.

Steyn deserves a standing ovation - battled through the pain barrier to guide JPD through to his ton.

372-8

Only 22 behind Aus

Congrats JPD.

We are going to see many more hundreds from this youngster.

Prince place is now under threat

Now Steyn should try to better his previous highest first class score of 82

nah...its Mckenzie

Mckenzie will be replaced by Van Jaarsveldt.

Vaughn van Jaarsveldt is another brilliant batsman. The most stylish batsman South Africa has produced. He reminds me of Carl Hooper

Steyn hitting out now - ordinary bowlers bowling ordinary stuff.

Mckenzie may get a lucky break as Smith remains a doubtful starter for the next test

Ok folks - at the risk of oversleeping - I am out of here.

To take over in the 'comm-box', its :younis Waqar Younis (Pak) & :wasim Wasim Akram (Ind)

MIckey Arthur confirmed that Smith will play 3rd test..... :)

So that may the end end of McKenzie's international test career.

Many Saffers believe that the only reason why he is in the side is because he is Mickey Arthur's cousin

What prediction man. I am the cricketing god (...of course after SRT) :batman:

Aussies :))) :))) 140 partnership between Steyn and Duminy :))) :))) :)))

What next for Australian bowlers? Fall on the feet of Steyn and Duminy? Plz have mercy!

Sorry itduzz I lost the link can you please post it again?

Australia had to get 3 TAILENDERS' wickets to wrap things up today BUT they have just managed to get 1 wicket. What were the odds of Australian bowlers sh itting their pants after a terrific display y'day

Aussie commentators on radio: 'Duminy, well he seems to have a Rahul Dravid type Technique with Ganguly's attacking strokeplay" :O..... In the meantime the look on 'the bunny's' face on the field priceless :D>....

Umm I think you might have gotten confused about the 'greatest batsmen of pace' :)) ..

South Africa lead by 56 runs with 1 wicket remaining.

Partnership of 10 beteen JP and Ntini already. Aussies struggling to dismiss Ntini
