All wickets have fallen to ordinary balls.

But England have bowled well and have made their own luck. Lots of edges Australia got away with too - clearly the poorer side today.

The ball change has done the trick for Eng. I wonder why it was changed didn't look too bad to me.

Well, Pakistan's #4 spot is safe it seems. Bailey needs to attack the English bowlers here, if the runs dry up, it'll become very difficult to get to 200.

Beautiful day for cricket, quite contrast to the forecast for storms and showers. May still come.

Been a great start for England, but looking forward to watching a rearguard innings from Bailey.

Another train of thought...would the great Australian batting line up have shown this much respect to Anderson the bowler? He's bowled 10 overs for 16 runs, eco 1.6!

Cricket is funny game. There was a time when likes of Hayden, Hussey, Elliot, Love and Hodge type batsmen struggled to get a game and now Smith is batting at 5.

I feel that, when one has a great team..there is always great talent waiting in the wings..but for some reason, everything goes down the drain all at once

Bailey gone. Not sure what he's thinking taking an off-stump guard.

Australia's best batsmen are yet to come so there is still a lot of hope left.

All that hype for this? Just let England take the urn back home.

Tremlett gets his first...132/6

Nice bowl that

Australian must really know/feel what we Pakistani fans go through now

Thats also Tremletts 50th wicket in test cricket!

Wow, just noticed that Haddin is playing in his 50th test match

Wonder how the Australian fans feel about that? (specially RA and OZGOD)

Aus have not lost a Test at the Gabbatoir since 1988. Looks like that's about to change unless a few sessions gets rain out.

Well it's a bit early for wrist slitting, it's only the second session of the series. I will have a look at how the Poms bat first before I slit my wrists tomorrow.
