Bangladesh (565 & 30/0) secure a historic Test win by 10 wickets against Pakistan (448/6d & 146) in the 1st Test match and lead the 2-match series 1-0

Both are looking solid. I want some of our players to score big daddy hundreds over the course of this test season. Hopefully it can start with these two.

Both Rizwan from Peshawar and Saud from Karachi are our players. There is no place for discrimination and both these players have shown that they play for their country.

Their partnership is for their country and together they have no problem playing together.

People who intentionally want to discriminate will continue to get their humble pies one after another.

At the time early on when it rained and it was swinging.

It became a phata when saim and saud settled in and started batting.

As soon as saim hit that 6 of the spinner

This is how pitch change with the time but still this is not a phata

Wait for Bangladesh batting, how they will crumbles on this same pitch.

There is enough support for bowlers in this pitch .
 
Saud and riz should be looking to bat it out today. It will put Pakistan in the driving seat comfortably.

Look rizzu played a good innings today.

As I said he's a comfort zone player who will work when the situation suits him. This was one such event.

He will go missing during crunch knock out moments though. Asia cup 2022 final anyone?
 
So after a humiliating world cup exist where we lost to the US and almost lost to both Ireland and Canada, after a disastorous tour of Australia which we lost 3-0 (could have won 2-1 if a certain keeper wasn't such a choker), disastrous 2023 world cup and failing to win a single test at home for over 3 years, all one needs to do is score a fluke 80 on a road vs the mighty Bangladesh to be redeemed? Pakistan fans are the worst
 
Saud is a class player and this was obvious from the very first time he faced his first Test ball.

Should be in both Test & ODI team.

When yesterday he was came out to bat situation were not so easy. Pakistan were 114-4 but a strong partnership with saud make sure Pakistan is strong postion now. 114-4 easily could have been 220 all out .

This just shows that your long term domestic performers are your real talent. Same happened in case of Mir Hamza. He was just so ready even in Australia.

Wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Huraira and Ghulam show promise

It's unfair to call it a fluke, the thing is rizwan thrives on such knocks againat weaker sides.

The problem isn't that Rizwan sucks, if that was the problem he'd have been dropped and long gone.

The problem is that he and babar and his fans as a result thrive on such situations.

Read my posts before this test series. I said rizwam and babar will perform as opposition is Bangladesh and the pitch is pindi. (YES I was wrong about bobby)

The issue is these 2 just don't step up or sometimes cause the downfall during crunch events, Whereas fakhar the guy who rizzu replaced is the opposite. Fakhar steps up when needed but does not perform when not needed.

It's just I don't wish to engage with many on here because ik for a fact that they've read my previous posts but will ignore it, So no point in repeating.

As I said for the millionth time, Eizwan and babar perform against weak teams in home conditions, Fans respond with Haha L to you bozos, Then the next cup cones and we find out Pakistan has lost to usa?

I've always maintained that Value does not defeat consistency. Yes ideally if you're valuable and consistent then fantastic but even then Kohli is not called India's greatest 57 avg, he's called India greatest chaser for a reason.

Falhar zaman is your most valuable batsmen, but coming back to rizwan.

Rizwan is consistent 100%, and theirs no denying that. Stats wise he's great, But stats wise he's also superior to Santh jaysuria? And we both know that isn't true.

Babar and rizwan thrive againat such teams in such situations( Not babar anymore after 2022, but before 2022, 100%) and anytime they do, their fans commonly hail them as kings. But these so called kings do not show up when they are needed, Only exception being that 2021 India game and 2019 NZ game. 8 to 10 years for both these 2 players and that's the only thing they have to show for it.

Fakhar zaman is inconsistent but he more memorable innings and have given pakistan glory (Ct 2017), Saved them (NZ 123 of 70 for drs 400), Given respectable losses (Sa 193), Gotten them no 1 rank (91 of 46 against australia)

Now when it comes to sarfraz, Sarfraz during the game againat sri lanka where he and shafiq saved the 4 day test and won it, That was a lost game for Pakistan, and these 2 showed up and won the game from a lost position.

That game alone is superior to anything that rizwan has ever done.

A player is remembered for their value, and not their scoreboard stats.

Dhoni is remembered for taking the game deep, Finishing games and often time getting India out of a rut. He is not remembered for a 50 avg.

Same reason no gives a kahoot about Misbah despite him being the most consistent pakistan batter. Because Inzi's semi final knock is > Any 50 of 83 in losing causes that misbah has ever consistently done so.

Long story short, I've seen sarfraz cone through in tough test and odi situations for pakistan notable that 4 day sri lanka test game and ct 2017 sri lanka game(albeit that was lucky cause 2 drops)

I've yet to see that from rizzu

We drop catches even when all the mother's prey, many of the mothers are busy preying for BD the country not the cricket team at the moment. so expect a few more drops I guess

A century for brother Rizwan. Good temperament on display. This pitch ain't aiding bowler after 20 overs and on top of that Bangladeshi bowlers have been sorryful with their line and length. Bangladesh team will have to survive first 20 overs of new ball and then this is quite flat and Pakistan's pacers don't have the speeds of past to trouble with reverse swing with old ball

There is no contest between him and Sarfaraz.
Rizwan was always the better all conditions and all format batter, and Sarfaraz keeping is no longer what it used to be 5-10 years prior, so Rizwan rightly the number one keeper bat

the last time a pak scored a century in test cricket was over a year ago, when salman agha hit a hundred against sri lanka in august 2023.

I never said rizwan is world beater but for Pakistan standard he is best wicketkeeper in the country

He may not win matches single Handley but does provides good support most of time's.

Yes but until he starts winning games and not just have the sri lanka 2023 wc and the 2021 India game as his only portfolio, You can understand why people will get triggered when the King mantras start applying.

Rizzu replaced Fakhar in t20, Asked to bat at no 4 in odi over agha and saud. Has made multiple demands.

Before that he was a crapola t20 no 4 and a horrible odi no 5. When so many concessions are made for you, You need to start showcasing world beater performances.
 
Pak pitches are some of the worst.

Teams like India would absolutely whitewash them on the flat beds in pak

Looking at this pitch, high probability of a draw test. There is no Mir Hamza or A specialist spinner to bowl long spells. Pakistani pacers will also tire out after 2 spells

They are fine with odi and T20 cricket .
