I think it's good to bat against the wicket is still good for batting as shown by shakib. It's better to get more wear and tear besides it gives youngsters like Sami opportunity to play without much pressure and gain some valuable confidence. I am very disappointed that we did not play Babar Azam in any format and didn't give him the opportunity to play with A team too

In the ODI's he was going at the same pace throughout, Glad that it was a flat pitch so he got regular boundaries and scored runs. He didn't show any sign of accelerating after a slow start, and when he started to try he got out in 30's

Pakistan should have enforced follow on. The situation is tailor made for that. They bowled barely 47 overs in the first innings. Bowlers relatively fresh. The bowlers just had to ask themselves for one mighty effort before flying home. Elite sportsmen should occasionally do the hard yards. I don't see this wicket deteriorating. The only thing I can think from Misbah's defensive mind is that he will be scared to chase 150 in the 4th innings. The story of our last few years.
