Gus makes them money. More than hectors gang, and eladio only cares about the money.
I hope we get a glimpse of tuco
Isn’t he still inside for beating up Mike?
It's starting to feel dragged out. Feels like every episode should have been the last one.
The whole thing's been slow. Of anything it has sped up and definitely looks frazzled in latest episode. Incredible
I know it's trendy these days to say BCS is even better than BB, but it's nowhere close.I'm quoting you specifically because you are one of those people. It's a good show in itself, but I find myself forcing myself to watch it, whereas with BB I could hardly resist pressing play on the next episode.
Obviously this could be dismissed as a matter of opinion, but then some opinions carry more weight than others. You should really be careful before offering up yours unless you have been advised first.
I wouldn’t say BCS > BB. More subtle, perhaps. More thoughtful.

I don't think it is more subtle though. It's a valid attempt to follow arguably the best TV series ever made, but Walter, Jesse, Badger, Skinny Pete, Gus without a huge pot belly, Skyler, Walt Jr, Hank, Marie.....these are iconic characters in their own right.
BCS is a fine follow up series but it's a spin off at the end of the day. A good one as spin offs go, but let's not pretend it's more than it's parts.
Absolutely agree with you!
It's more mature, more subtle, more refined and better in every way possible!

Another supreme episode. Very different, but thought it was beautifully shot and ingeniously written again. Gene will always be Saul and they will both always be Jimmy.
^a very rare VinceVerse recast!
I thought season 1 was superb.
I'm 2 episodes into season 2 and it's not been as good as season 1 so far.
Just finished season 2.
I can't get my head around the Chuck and Jimmy relationship. Just when you think things are going to smooth over between them something comes up.
As for Kim, I think she's taking Jimmy for a ride - let's see.
Season 3 here we come![]()

Oh my word, just you wait…..
How brilliant is Mike Ehrmantraut.
Cool as a cucumber (most of the time).
A natural when it comes to violence.
This week’s new episode.
Wow. Crikey.
It’s something very special.
Good to see W&J one last time again.
Where is this Gene story going? Just two left….
The titles tape is really worn out now.
Watched it last night“Chicanery” is a fantastic episode.
For Saj it’s soon.![]()
Watched it last night
Chick just couldn't keep it quiet could he.
Eventually let things slip and lost the plot.
Played it perfectly did Jimmy.

If they are going to complete the mirroring with Walter, there is no way that Saul survives
Disappointed overall with Ep11.
Too much forced fan service. It’s not the same Jesse Pinkman. This is a aged, out of character Pinkman. They could have at least put in the effort to de-age him with VFX. It’s distracting. Also, correct me if I am wrong…after Walter & JEsse ‘kidnap’ Saul in BB in the ‘it was Ignacio’ scene…Saul did not see Walter’s face until he walked into he’s office and recognised him by he’s cough…then how is it possible to have a scene in the drug van with all three?….plot hole?
He has gone full circle, back to Slipping Jimmy the conman.
I think the old lady is key to his final destination.
Some speculation that the old lady is Kim’s mum, which Gene does not know, but she knows who he is.
While one is pleased that Jimmy gets the upper hand, consequences follow.
Chuck comes across as someone who will mostly have the upper hand over Jimmy as Jimmy seems very emotional.
I thought the parallels in the latter half of the new episode were great and, having just watched BB, it was fantastic watching them connect that school scene up at the end.
Here’s a theory James.
Kim flies to Jimmy for a reunion.
She boards Wayfarer 515.
Or another….
Saul mentioned in BB that his wife killed herself. Kim has twice mentioned leaping off a building.
Finished the 3rd season.
What is it with Jimmy. Just when you think he's moving up in the world he does something stupid.
It's one step forward and then 2 steps back.
Penultimate episode done.
Absolutely fantastic again.
Finale coming up.
I knew the old lady would work it out.
Poor Kim - a housewife in Florida now - boring job, boring friends, boring husband, boring sex.
Tbh, I don’t really have sympathy with her…because of her antics with Jimmy that led to the demise of Howard
Overall a magnificent episode.
I think that Kim’s breakdown on the bus (sat next to a lady being cameo’d by Vince Gilligan’s wife!) was a twofold realisation — finally coming to terms with everything she has done, but also regretting that she still hasn’t had her own comeuppance & she is unlikely to be pursued or prosecuted for her crimes due to the lack of physical evidence.
In the series finale I think she will want to fully punish herself: so she is either going to turn in her lost love Jimmy (Gene) to the police, or possibly commit suicide. Or both.

Couldn't wait up until its release at 0001 hrs this morning so watching it tonight....
It’s out now![]()
Spoiler alert. Dont read the post if you havnt watched the finale yet!!!!!
Great 3 months i had with this show. Vince gilligan is a legend. The breaking bad/better call saul universe comes to an end :")
At least 2 new shows are in the works for 2023, one is based on Gus Frings early life. AMC advertised this while the finale was airing live on TV.
I missed this, is there a link for it?

Like Walt, Jimmy got a partial redemption arc, finally copping to his many wrongs and saving Kim. That it took a chance utterance from the time-bomb Walt to jolt him into it was a nice twist.
So Kim didn’t jump off a building. Called that wrong, even though it was foreshadowed several times. She begins to steer back to public service too.
Marie still annoying after all these years.
Good final ending to the Breaking Bad experience. BCS and BB complemented each other; the latter slowly unfolding instead of the breakneck pace and white-knuckle tension of the former.
Unless we get a Kim Wexler spin-off - exploring her early years on the grift while she gears up her career in law again?
