The Kashmiris will have all the opportunities if they live like the rest of the Indians. Then they will be treated like the rest of the Indians. They have locked themselves up with growing population and no investments because of 370.

Why do they have to win over Indians? You wouldn't ask that question if you understand democracy. Did you ever imagine 'Brexit' would happen? How did it happen? It did because people wanted it. Leaders can't make unilateral decisions in a democracy. Convince the people of India that Kashmir and India are better off apart and convince that Kashmir will not be another Syria with rampant terrorism that will be a headache to India, Pakistan and China. Contrary to what you believe, onus is on Kashmiris to prove this and based on what I see, Kashmiris are exactly doing the opposite. I guess we have to let a few generations pass by before common sense prevails.

You are talking about evidence ? What happened to the evidence provided after 26/11 ? The whole world knows who was behind it.
People responsible for it were banned and declared terrorists by UN and other western nations. For them evidence provided by India was enough.
Still they are roaming free in Pakistan, why ?
Evidence provided by India were more than enough. Pakistani govt just don't want to take actions against them, because (i) army will not allow (ii) any PM who takes any action against these people can kiss his political career goodbye.
So, please don't talk about evidence. Crying for evidence is just for buying some time till the dust settles.

Yes, there is mistrust on both sides and people are what they are based on surroundings. But, that is not an excuse if you want to gain anything from the establishment. You can't expect it to be normal overnight. Check the history of Kashmir before late 80s. On all acounts online, There were debates, there was still a freedom movement but it wasn't violent. Once you resort to violence, all gloves are off. You need to win over Indians and garner international support. You can't do either with violence. As I said, it will take a few generations to go back to the days of pre terrorism in Kashmir.

You are comparing apples and oranges. Believing in some concepts of religion which cannot be rationalized in light of science is different than believing in whatever the government says. What government says and does is happening right now, infront of you and me. I am asking you to question the inconsistencies in government's version of truth and you are bringing in religion. Come on, i expect better from you.

I think you need to stop with apples and oranges, its a mindset, believing anything and everything just because elders or your parents are saying is very similar to government, religion is a concept,just like governance, its upto us to open our minds and constructively think about the truth being presented to us based on someone saying something centuries ago.

There are inconsistencies in religion too but we become too stubborn to see them through.

But a terror attack on Indians is beyond politics.To give perpetrators of the attack an excuse by politicising a terror attack is not in national interest.

Oh, yeah? Modi was busy shooting for film in Corbett national park and gorging on pakodas and chai when the attacks happened. So what did his spin doctors do to wriggle Modi out of this situation?

They simply lied that Modi got this info 25-min late due to bad weather and what not! Digital India, yeah surely. In this day and age, a head of state gets such a crucial info late. If this isn't a lie, what else it is? How can Indians trust this guy for their security?

Also, let Modi and Shah themselves learn not to politicize such terror attacks. Modi was inaugurating a train which anyone could have done especially in such circumstances. But then who'll hog the shutterbugs? He also did several rallies in next few days. And Shah never stooped doing political rallies.

And guess what, where is he these days? Out for another world tour at the cost of public exchequer. I know bhakts will still have their heads firmly buried in sand.

Just because Shabana's father's centenary celebrations were to happen in Pakistan and she is a muslim, she is to be painted black and put on a donkey, to quote Kangana? What should we call Kangana then who as a producer had no qualms in releasing her movie in Pakistan and collecting the moolah?

I used to hold Kher in very high esteem due to his mind boggling acting skills, he still is a mighty fine actor but look at the way he has behaved ever since Modi got power. Is he another of those celebrities who'll say anything in social media just for few bucks?

Your current PM Modi was banned from entering the US for years due to his culpability in the massacre of thousands of Muslims in the Gujarat riots. I know you Indians put a lot of store by western judgements, but then it should apply equally to your Hindu fundamentalist leaders who wreak terror among minorities.

You are picking and choosing those judgements which favour Indian Hindus, and ignoring the rest, basically doing what your fellow Hindutva does here; using the USA and western media when it suits you, when it goes against it's "only Indians can decide what is right for India".

Modi was never declared a terrorist neither there was a bounty on his head. Getting banned from entering a country is not same as getting declared as a terrorist.
