The first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 is heating up! After a dramatic start, Australia finds themselves in a challenging position, as India's get exceeds 370. With Yashasvi Jaiswal's brilliant 161 and KL Rahul's solid 77, India has taken control of the match.

But cricket is a game of uncertainties!

Can Australia stage a comeback and force a win in Perth?

Hone meh toh kuch bhi ho sakta hain. But chasing 400 odd in the 4th innings would be difficult even for the mighty Aussie team of any era.

South Africa cashed 400+ in Perth 2008. So, it is possible.

There will be some help for pacers early on after which it will be all about facing spin. It is not going to be a walk in park but Aussies can chase down a target under 450 as pitch has no demons as such.

Very much doable.
Aussies won’t go down without a fight I bet you that. This match is still going down to a dogfight.

Of all the visiting teams, it’s only the Indians that has challenged Australia appreciatiably. No other team, except the South Africans, have come anywhere close. India regularly dominates Australia in Australia even when they seem to down horribly.

A lesson for other teams, especially Pakistan.

What a capitulation by Aus, never seen a performance like this from them.

You would think that a team which has been humiliated at home twice in a row would have more fire in their belly but clearly not. The attitude of the Australian players and Cricket Australia is clearly its okay to lose to India in their own backyard.

And what would be the reason behind that ?

Labu should never play a test again. This is a career ending performance from him.

Apart from that double century against Pakistan in 2019 and the ODI WC 2023 final knock. What has he really done for Australia?
