I am VERY disappointed with Afridi & Pak team! Before the Sami over Afridi came and was walking/standing(moving his feet) right on the end where dani is bowling(Danger area). Later Umpire saw it damaged a bit and pulled inzi aside to ask what happend. Commentators are saying it was done purposly by Afridi/team. We are winning we shouldnt do this even if we are losing. It looked like he was doing it purposly

Earlier, there was a disgraceful display from Afridi who, at the change of ends, loiters a couple of yards from the stumps before doing a disco inferno 360 turn.

That really is unfair.

That is cheating. I appreciate a good game of cricket and support my brothers, the Pakistani side. But when it comes to the Truth, sentiments should not cause us to overlook what is wrong.

People get fined for fringe things like celebrating a faint snick out and not making srue the umpire gave it out. That stuff is spur of the moment stuff.

This was a case where he came onto the pitch, made sure the umpires weren't looking, and scruffed his feet.

If he is not fined, then we will have to talk about how the ICC favours him.(fat chance of that)

It was some thing done purposly.
Thank god Ian Botham didnt say the inzy tiggered that gas tank to go off so afridi could do a tango on the pitch.

They can't ban Afridi they have to worn him first after you get your third warning you cannot bowl for the rest of the day. I have not heard anyone getting banned for roughing up the pitch. On top of that even if the umpires were not looking Afridi or anyone who watches international cricket knows that the the players are being watched by the third umpire and atleast 7-8 camera's all the time. I dont think anyone would be stupid enough to pull a stunt like that. He was for all likelyhood firming up his landing spot.

I think after today's batting fireworks, Afridi got carried away and is trying too hard to be Mr Super Allrounder. I don't think his actions had the blessings of the Pakistan dressing room. He knew he would be coming on to bowl soon and probably tried to help his cause by a little under-handed tactics.

After Bell and Harmlessone's cheating, he probably feels two wrongs can make a right.

This is WAY different. That whole process is if you run onto teh pitch during play or something like that. This was when play was NOT going on and he walked over to teh pitch specifically for this purpose.

Quick note: He was pretty embarrased by peterson who was in the dressing room when is happen. When they were walking back he told afridi that they knew what he had done and did a little twirl. Believe me, he didn't look like he was in a playful mood, he was quite upset.
