No place for Dinesh Karthik again, all because Dhoni has to be in tbe team.

Wonder what Dhoni gets by playing these T20Is. Even KL Rahul as keeper can do the work Dhoni does in T20s

I think if MSD retires from T20's and lets say a newbie or even Dinesh Karthik performs extremely well like he did in Nidahas Trophy, then even the ODI spot will be threatened. People will start questioning MSD's place in ODI's too.

Once MSD retires completely from Internaitonal Cricket his brand value will decrease. He still has to make more money.

Why the heck is the ball swinging and bouncing so much on a T20 pitch?

England got scared and left a bit of grass on the pitch to nullify Indian batters and of course Kuldeep.

He is still a very good batsman and most teams would like to have him. But he is very inconsistent and you cannot I’ve someone like him at the top who once in a blue moon hits daddy hundreds.
 
would prefer top order to fail today so dhoni , raina and pandya get some time in middle and a chance to justify spots in team

Dhwaan is deadly when set in any format. Got to admit this Indian T20 batting line up is strong.

You dont need to be scared, you got KL Bradman in the ranks.
 
Drop sharma so he will realize importance of his spot. He just doesn't look like care about cricket anymore. If he comes back good its fine else kl rahul must be opener.

Cardiff have those short straight boundaries and longer square boundaries.

Last year in the CT SF vs England at this ground, we bowled a lot of bouncers and slower bouncers because of that to good effect.

Indian batsmen are good against pace and bounce. Can be a risky tactic.

Very poor from Rahul. No need to play that shot. He is so good playing with a straight bat.
 
Kohli should certainly remain at 3 in ODIs. That's his position . I think KL should play at 4 in the ODIs. He has a lot to prove in that format. In T20s and tests he has shown enough to be regulars in that format. ODIs is where he needs to improve but of course Indian think tank have to give him a chance.
 
Plunkett is a underrated LO bowler. Picks up wickets and is economical most of the time.
 
This is exactly why we need good batsman and can't afford to carry passengers in this team. This is a hit and miss lineup with little consistency outside of Kohli.

Lot of pace and bounce In the wicket.

The first 2 overs, the ball swung a lot. Even an 82 mph ball from Jake Ball flew like it was delivered by Malcolm Marshall.

Who are the Indian commentators on Sky Sports? Sony SIX has Harsha Bhogle, Sanjay Manjrekar and Deep Dasgupta along with Graeme Swann. It's weird that they're not sharing commentators with Sky Sports.

I watched the post-match of the last game on YouTube and Harbhajan Singh really shouldn't be on the English commentary team.
 
A little extra bounce and Indian batsmen are struggling, just like their 'ancestors =D
 
Kohli played 8 balls and scored 4 runs. If the same thing happens with Babar then he was going to be a selfish player

I like how Raina gets going from ball one. He's the most underrated Indian player ever.

Rahul shouldn't even be compared to Kohli yet, but let's not act as if Kohli or Sachin scored a 50 in every innings.
 
India in deep deep trouble. Only a Kohli+Dhoni special can save them. Good thing both are at the crease.
