That dropped catch proves that being a kuptaan is too much for Babar as he is having trouble managing all the extra workload...keep him solely as a batsman in the team
 
England have figured out Abrar now. Zero pressure by Babar with his field placings, easy singles on offer even against Abrar. Sooner Pakistan gets rid of this incompetent captain the better.

Yes Babar's job is already done. He scored an aesthetically pleasing 50 to maintain his average (despite getting out when team badly needed him) and soothe his diehard fans.

No need to worry about taking catches.
 
Babar will score a 50 and will become king babar again. Our leadership in general lacks leadership ability.

There are 3 more tests after this at this stage i don't see even 1 postive result in our favor.

Pakistan actually done well this match despite limited resources. The only real flaw was the second day batting collapse.

Paksitan bowling lineup Abrar aside does not look like taking a single wicket. No excuse for pitch this time.

Tomorrow will still be a 3rd a day pitch remember. So if Pak restrict them to 300 (or Stokes does another sporting declaration nahhhh just kidding) then they can still back themselves to chase.

Lol, Shadab is way better than Zahid Mahmood, better batsman, better fielder and better bowler also. Doesn't matter if he is LOs specialist, as a professional cricketer he has to ajdjust, and it's not like the longer format is alien to him, he has already played Test cricket and has a decent FC record.
 
Zahid Mahmood has a FC bowling average of close to 40. Only for this selection the rubbish selectors should be kicket out.

I see where you are coming from, but the lead is already a lot more than what Pakistan made in the first innings. If they can collapse like that in first innings, just imagine how they will fare when the scoreboard preassure is on. But you still don't know which paksitani side will show up.

Really selecting a leg spinner avg 40 in FC cricket , and that too 35 yr old youngster he keeps Abrar and Yasir out. And in the next game will get to the 38 yr old youngster in Nouman replacing him.

How come, sounds :malik :amir2 are correct about these selectors.

This looks like england are playing in their home ground. They so well adjusted to Pakistan pitch condition. Pakistan seems like playing away from home
 
Hopefully this will be the end of Saqlain and Yousuf as our coaches. They have turned this team into a bunch of coward cats with their ultra defensive approach.

looks like 2 Home series defeats in a row and no tests won, heads need to roll after this game and series.

Not perfect, because the two run outs were poor, but aside from that it’s been a very good display of Test cricket from England today.
 
Should England declare overnight , dismiss Pakistan before end of day 3 and go for Shopping/Sightseeing on last two days ?
