What's new

England v Pakistan | 1st Test | Lord's | Jul 14-18, 2016 | Day 2

Seems like Cook will get 150+ we will be looking at 500 here.

Poor bowling have to say.

Yasir needs to keep it tight.

Sarfraz is no different to Umar and Maqsood with the bat.

Has the attention span of 25-30 deliveries only and loves throwing his wicket regardless of the format.

The 2014-2015 purple patch is over and he is getting exposed now, I'm afraid his career is going one way only.

I rate him higher than Azhar Ali, Hafeez and Shan Masood.

Its been only 11 overs. 275 runs still to go. What is this rondu pana?

We don't have any backup or alternate right now...

What duke ball swings after 10 overs?

What is everyone talking about?

Did it swing for England after 10 overs?

As far as I know, duke will keep swinging if there is something in the air.

It's something i have noticed with the duke.
Tends to start swinging after a few overs .
Unlike the kukaboora which stops swinging after a few .
You can ofcourse start getting seam movement straight away .

According to Stuart Broad this year's batch has swung after 10 overs.

In tests? Way better than Kohli...no comparison.

Overall. He's already better in Tests, but I feel that he is the only one who can get close to Kohli in Limited Overs in the next 10 years or so.

He hasn't reached his potential in those formats yet but he has shown enough glimpses.

The way he chased down 230 vs South Africa in the WT20, I don't think anyone else apart from Kohli could have pulled that off.

Overall, I find him superior to Smith, Williamson, Rahane and de Kock.

Really?

I have no idea. Not sure.

Off-side field for Root and the desi Mitchell Johnson is bowling on the pads.

Why the hell Hafeez is still in first slip??

Amir needs to come closer to the wicket to shape away for Cook

Amir getting some movement. Should bring Rahat. Too early to introduce Wahab

We should not put any mental pressure on Amir...he is fine...he tried and it was cook's luck that he survived.

Don't expect Amir to take 5fer.

England can afford to tuk tuk for a session. The thrashing they handed in the first 10 overs has allowed them this luxury.

Kaptaan probably remind his sons how he groomed Inzamam, Wasim and Waqar and won Pakistan the 92 World Cup.

To many cheap runs given away in inns so far, also we cant afford to give away one hit me ball and over

Watch how the wrist-slitters and their king Mamoon are strutting around when England are building a partnership.

Where were these guys when Misbah and Asad were flourishing yesterday?

Pakistan need a change of luck here! 76/1 after 15 overs.

Root and Cook are lightyears ahead of Azhar, Younis and Misbah when it comes to playing pace, and they are good players of spin too.

No jumping around at the crease, no balls hitting the pads.

Clean and organized batting.
