dunno ,there isn't that much in the wicket and more importantly it's pretty slow ie not like old trafford. part of the reason why sohail's been successful is pak havnt seen right arm seam yet this series. pak can bat well here i reckon but they NEED to start taking wickets soon, amir or yasir need to stand up

Amir has been below par throughout. Needs to rise to the occassion, won't give the excuse of getting his rhythm back in tests. This is a seamer's paradise. Won't get anything close in the UAE.

His world T20 performance too was sub par. Top stuff in Asia Cup though, will give him that. I think the pressure of expectation is getting to him, but its his responsibility to cope with it.

Just tuned in to live telecast, Did i missed seeing Aslam in slips or he has been in outfield since start ?

In what is a pressure scenario for him, a young opener is patrolling the boundaries when they should have seniors chit chatting with him in slips to relax the nerves.

Very poor on behalf of team management and seniors.

Irrespective of the wicket i feel any score above 250 will be difficult for this pakistani lineup to overcome in their first innings, this test is definitely going to yield result and i feel pakistan are struggling here. Really stupid decision on part of the management in electing to bowl first, no pitch in the world has the venom to skittle batsmen for a paltry score nor are there exceptional bowlers to exploit the conditions. overall an opportunity missed by pak.
