People here don't understand cricket... The batters (including English batsmen) have succeeded on this pitch only because they tried to attack and keep the scoreboard moving... (measured aggression) If they try to defend too much here (like Pujara for instance) you are lifting the confidence of the bowler and bowler can work out line & length and get the batsmen out easily (in fact induce a collapse...)Kl played quite well.Atherton have praised hom a lot. The never ending up and down bounce will suck a batter so easily. It can hit a bat handle and get any batter for easy catch.there is lot of rough on leg side. Jadeja should use it for tying down bazballers and should not give freebies. Bumrah will be quite a fun from that end.
Since runs have been scored at good rate people are thinking that this is flat pitch... But they have to see the replays of dismissals, those are genuine wickets earned by bowlers by bowling good line & length (and some purchase from wicket)... It is not that batsmen have thrown their wickets...
In fact with some more good bowlers in either teams (Bumrah with peak Shami or Ishant accompanying) we would have seen different results with the ball... (OR if peak Australian/SA attack bowl on this)
