THe hotspot DID NOT miss it. There is a spot there, and I dont understand why the commentators are saying there is no spot on the bat!!

What a time for Shastri to come in the commentary box :))

It was out, even without hot spot it was clear that there was an edge.

Harsha and indian commentators need to stop crying

Dravid should not have been given out. Hot Spot didn't pick anything. Benefit of doubt should be given to batsman. Poor decision.

I suggest everyone to tune into Star's coverage.

Shastri and Gavaskar on now and really earning their BCCI paychecks.

"I guess this shows the world why the BCCI don't want UDRS"

:))) :)))

There was a clear deflection onto the pads and thats why Dravid is back in the hut.

Hahahha.. Sunil and Ravi.. again

"now the people will understand why BCCI is not keen on using technology.."

When Dravid asked for the review, they showed the hot-spot replay from the side-on where you could see the edge/side of the bat.

When England asks for review... WHY THE HECK THE SAME camera is not used ... from the side-on to confirm if there was a nick or not???

And now the shastri and gavasker, the two paid BCCI stooges, saying this is why BCCI and indian players dont like DRS

Clear deflection. Ganguly even said it once he was given out. Then said, maybe there was.

Also, hotspot did pick it.

Really difficult one.

Hotspot means next to nothing as we know.

It looked like a deviation off the bat rather than past the bat.

Either way, the Third Umpire must have heard something in his ear or else he would not have overturned it.

Manjrekar was also saying that Dravid's body language was negative throughout the appeal and the review.

I just hope it was the right decision.

Hussain's talking sense. Says there wasn't enough evidence to overrule. If it was given out, keep it out and if not out, keep it not out.

Well, he has to earn his pay check ... doesn't he???

They just showed the side view, and even though the commies didn't see anything, I swear I just saw a little spot.

The silly mid-on might have obscured it. I don't know, each time I see the replay I have a different opinion. I can't even say there's a clear deflection....it was turning in a long way to begin with. I'm really not sure how a third umpire can give it.

England would want Sehwag more than Laxman by the close.

they just showed the side-on one. It didn't pick anything.

Strauss should bring back Broad or Andreson to target Laxman in place of Swann.

Ball was spinning too and when there is no evidence on hot spot how can they give him out?

Sehwag should be careful leaving here, this wicket is doing a bit now. Variable bounce and big turn.

Yaar Lohay ka dimagh hai ina ka

If i was there, would have told him that dravid was there because of technology. He would have been in the dressing room if the decision was not overturned earlier..

England needs atleast two more wickets before close.

If it wasnt for rain, this game would hve been over by now.

That decision had nothing to do with technology, if anything it was technology that proved it was not out, it was the icompetence and unfairness of the umpire which gave it out, not technology

Gavasker crying that technology is not hundred percent theres no point having it :)))

That white spot might have been there before, but did it get whiter as the ball grazed it?

That would have been best option. There was not enough evidence I guess. Don't know what third umpire thought.

Harsha (admittedly not very credible) saying he had the stump mike on full and couldn't hear anything. I couldn't hear it too. Deflection is hard to judge, because the ball was turning in to leg a long way, and the only angle which hinted at a deflection is from the cover camera - not reliable.

I do hope the Indian team report Davies for poor umpiring, if it was the wrong decision. I'm pretty understanding of on-field umpires - but a third umpire has no excuses for messing it up after 10 replays.
Overturning that decision is really guesswork, I can't see how a third umpire could possibly be certain.

And body language is no reason to give a batsman out.

One of the worst decisions I have seen in my life. Idiot umpire. This was RD's final innings in England.

If India can survive till stumps without losing another wicket, the stage will be set for Tendy to score his 100th 100 and save the match and give India a feelgood feeling on the way home.

What if Anderson comes on to bowl to him?

It doesnt matter what snicko says, if hotspot says not out then its not out according to laws, thinking part is done by onfield umpires.

Hotspot didn't show not out or out, angle wasn't good enough. He made the decision based off everything else.
