India down from No.1 to No.3. Indian PPers time to change your signatures.

one odi win on a pancake and it will all be forgotten..hope england smash them 5-0 in the odi's too..lol

India have played 37 tests, SA only 21.. which one is #2 and which is #3? :)))

Nasser Hussain precised that England were ranked at 6 some years ago, by the way...

:farhat

Well, we'll take care of the boys, like after the Ashes 2005-euphoria. :wasim

:facepalm:Feeling so sorry for our team...hope they'll bounce back stronger. :(

The scale of today's thrashing must be numbing for Indians. Despite thinking they might get out of jail and salvage a draw (moral victory!??!), this was an innings defeat in a test that was shortened by more than a day - causing England to declare early.

Take the rain out, and you're looking at a 4-day innings defeat in a test when England declared.

Lol. And to think it started off so well with Mishra and Sachin.

lol @ peoples booing Sureish Raina, Sreeshant and RP Singh :ahmed

Just like Will in The Inbetweeners, everyone thinks I'm crazy but I'm always right in the end.

We were both wrong weren't we? We gave India too much credit, we predicted 2-1 each :P

I was the only one in this thread that thought England would win the match all along. Bosh.

Watch some more test cricket fellas - the game has never gone when a batsman under pressure is being looked after by a tail-ender.

But yeah I was completely wrong about the series scoreline. Delighted about that :D

a circus midget perhaps?

Man, you guys act as if there are no short people in Pakistan...

What about Mushtaq Ahmed? Wasn't he a midget and didn't he get married?

Miandad was a midget too. Even your current squad has some midgets..

Attacking a cricketers looks is the ultimate hatred we can expect from the haters...

Miandad doesnt look short, how tall is he?

Miandad doesnt look short, how tall is he?

No more than 5'6"

Teenda is 5'5". He is a whopping 1 inch shorter than Miandad.

I think Mushtaq Ahmed should be shorter than everyone...

You can blame the performance on field. But most Pak fans attack the personality, physical stature and still their captain claims that Pak people have bigger hearts :asif

I was looking at Miandad's profile in Wiki and it says that they are Tyagi Brahmins from Gujarat who convereted to Islam under Aurangzeb...

So you have a midget Gaur Brahmin in your team :asif

My wife is a Gaur Brahmin too :p

Id agree with you BUT...when it comes to people like Gambhir or Sreesanth, one feels they have it coming to them. Anyone else, fair enough

Just came back and saw the highlights!

That was mightily satisfying esp. with that 91 !!!

Swann running through that lineup.

Not even making more than 300 runs in the ENTIRE series!!!

-

Schadenfreude at its finest...

P.S - Top presentation for Dravid:

Asked to explain India's performances in the series
"This will take half an hour"

Asked whether he'll be back here in England to face them in another Test Series
"One Test at a time, Michael, One Test At a Time"

And "The Wall" Banners of An actual wall in the crowd!

You weren't, most people have been predicting that for days. Giving credit to the opposition for fighting and giving themselves an outside chance at saving a game ≠ England have thrown it away. A few English fans got similarly tetchy when people praised the Praveen/Dhoni partnership in the last game.

Not sure where you've got this from, Miandad played in quite a tall team for a start which made him appear shorter (Sarfraz, Akram, Imran, Zaheer all 6' or more). Miandad was around 5'8", perhaps 5'9".

Dravid as India's MOTM was as predictable as Christmas happening on 25th Dec this year.
