This is why alleounders are overrated in cricket. You just play your 4 best bowlers , 6 batsmen and 1 wicket keeper with a couple of guys who can roll their arm over and simply keep it tight in between.
 
Here comes Hasan Ali! the pace bombardment is at hand! We still need to get Root out-as long as he is in, England has a chance.

It's all still a fluke. We're not a good test side and these youngsters aren't even good, gosh it's a 33% chance of winning and the 33% was in our favour. Dunno how people can say we dominated this test when its all luck.
 
Credit to Root. He has played well. This is how he should play in the future. Sometimes he's too eager to get bat on ball .

You also forgot Pakistan is England's bogey man.... Any other team and Pakistan will be smashed 9 times out of 10 :ssmith
 
Whatever happens (50 and out, Pakistan win etc...) - this is the best that Root has played in at least a year.

Abbas has been nothing short of bowling royalty in this Test match. Its been a pleasure watching him. Reminiscent of the Asif 2006 days.

Abbas is awsome.

Gets both cook and root out lbw on a wicket that’s eased out considerably..

Some people thinks he’s not good enough and this whole game has been a fluke.

Pakistan will beat most teams in these conditions. Perfect conditions for our guys.
 
He loves the first overs of his spells.

On debut, his first over wicket.

Abbas is really, really impressive. He was always accurate, but now releasing the ball from very close to stick, which has increased his LBW chances. Another couple of yards in pace, could have been among very best, still a fantastic English condition bowler- here he is using Lord's slope perfectly.
 
Looks like an innings loss here. Total mulleration.
 
Can we have some appreciation for Sarfaraz's captaincy and his bowling changes?

Simply epic. Everyone is bowling at full force today. You can't get a victory in three days without epic bowling and all that is happening. Still need to get the other four wickets first, but now into the tail! Get that innings victory!
 
Yikes, England still trailing by 69 runs and they're in the tail now. Truly an all-around dominating performance by Pakistan.
