Hafeez is a different player when he looks to attack from the get go and doesn’t fear getting out. His half-century in a T20 in India back in 2012 is still the best attacking innings I have seen by a Pakistani batsman in a long, long time.

That is exactly how he needs to bat in whatever that is left in his career. These days his facial hair is on point too.

One difference is English batters play lot more fearlessly, they know there are 6 more who can hit, they don’t care about getting out...They have team plan, no individual goals...
They put pressure on bowlers, who have limited options on these wickets...
We still play 1990 style, play long innings and risk at the end, that model does not work on these wickets.

Babar is technically the best but from what I can recall, has yet to score 50+ in a match winning cause against the top 5 (SENAI).

Pakistan can only win on 300+ wickets if Fakhar gets going. He was the reason why the CT final was won and why the team was able to record their highest chase (187-188 runs) last year in the T20 tri-series held in Zimbabwe.

Your analysis on Haris and Imam is spot on.

I do remember a game very early in his career where he and Haris chased down a total against New Zealand in the UAE but yeah can't think of any other innings
