What's new

Fourth Test between England (669) and India (358 & 425/4) ended in a draw with the hosts leading the five-match series 2-1

I think any result apart from 3-1 and England will be disappointed. India have assembled a youngish squad and mainly inexperienced bowling line up.

Indian team is very weak. They have shown real fortitude and played out of their skins to give England stiff competition.

This.. Spot on cuz..

This Indian side is young and weak but they got heart, came a whisker from being ahead 2-1 had Gill not got out for 7 during the 193 run chase.

Lol at this young indian side is young and weak. The likes of Rahul, Jaiswal, Gill, Pant, Jadeja, Sundar, Bhumrah, Siraj are very experienced players and have played a lot of cricket with the experienced Indian players like Kohli, Rohit, Ashwin e.t.c. If anything England have been seriously weakned by the retirements of Anderson, Broad. Stokes manages his bowling workload very carefully, Woakes is way past his best, Archer is returning to test cricket after 4 years and doesn't have enough experience in this format, Carse and Tongue are very raw, inexperienced. If anything India's bowling attach of Bhumrah, Siraj is more experienced and on paper are more world class compared to England's bowling attack and Akashdeep himself has a better record than England's bowlers.

This Indian side should have been leading 3-0 in this series by now and the fact the fans are celebrating a draw when they are trailing 2-1 in the series is just badniyati at its finest when they should be asking questions as to how did India squander a golden opportunity to beat a weak England side at home where the pitches have been flat. If the likes of Jadeja is scoring a century and 50 every innings, that tells you everything about the nature of the pitches and the quality of the english bowling this series.

You make it sound so easy. Fact is the English bazball batting lineup is too strong in their home conditions.

Ya too bad they couldn't beat a team that has inexperienced English players like Root, Stokes, Duckett, Crawley, Pope, Woakes with "experienced players" like Sai sudarshan, Karun Nair, Akash deep, Kamboj, Thakur, Sundar, Prasidh Krishna that too with their familiar duke ball and familiar conditions. Gill >> Root Jaiswal >>> Brook Pant >>>> Jamie Smith Sai sudarshan >>> DUckett, Rahul >>> Crawley, Jadeja >>> Stokes. Please inform this to wanna be aussies too.
