Have been thinking about this question for the last 30 minutes. While everyone is bashing Pakistan today, could it be the case that Bangladesh finally levelled-up and are just too good right now?

A 150kph speed demon, ATG veterans like Shakib and Rahim, a bunch of talented youngsters in Miraj, Litton, Shanto, Shadman and some of the best junior Cricketers waiting in the pipeline .. Bangladesh seem to have most bases covered.

Are we witnessing the birth of a Cricketing giant in Bangladesh?

No..this is not the first time..we have won tests in SL and NZ also but we are not consistent..without being consistent our era will not arive

Hoping this is a kick start to New Bangladesh, with more consistency's in all formats next few years before the older players leave.

But I think the Golden era was 2015-2019 but failed to win any competitions. The players are aging, Mushfiq, Shakib will be gone from cricket in few years, probably after CT25.

You are being too humble brother, not all wins are equal. A win against Pakistan in Pakistan is HUGE. This coinciding with the post-Hasina national rejuvenation is a turning point in Bangladesh Cricket and mindset in general.

Bangladesh always had that U17, U19 talent, but this time it's different. The nation has come out of loser's mentality now, and has taken its destiny in its own hand. I wish you guys luck, because what I see today is awakening of a Cricketing giant, a new chapter in Bangladesh Cricket. <3

A win in NZ against NZ was even bigger. I am not trying to be humble just stating the fact..after the NZ win we lost the next match in NZ by an innings..let's see what happens here

So, you have got away wins in NZ, Pak and SL now? I assume Windies and Zimbabwe would also be there.

Well, they have been depleted since many years.
yeah but that 2009 team were really bad, their main players went on a strike so they got some outdated and up and coming players in that team. Kemar Roach made his debut, Sammy played apart from these two others were awful

Beating this weak Pakistani team isn't that big an achievement for them. If they string a few away test wins together then maybe.

I think their golden era was a few years ago when Tamim, Mushfiq, Shakib , Mahmadullah etc were at their peak. But they under performed

Bangladesh are hunting nations one by one.

They started with Windies in 2009 and jumped to Zimbabwe in 2013. Since then, the wait is longer because some of their players focus shifted on LOIs. Finally in 2017, they got a win in Sri Lanka. This was followed by New Zealand and now Pakistan.

Bangladesh saying, "Who's next?"

India, Australia, South Africa or England?

I don't know DeadlyVenom, there's also psychology at play when it comes to sports. Bangladesh U17s and 19s are up there with Bharat and Pakistan's best talent, what I always felt was an inferiority complex holding them back.

Try and remember schooldays when we stood up to our worst bully and it completely changed who we were. This could be that moment for Bangladesh, imo.

Bangladesh isn't made for sport of any description.

Them beating Pakistan says more about Pakistan than it does about them.

Congratulations Bangladesh, but not really.

More likely Pakistan cricket’s Lead era is here, making others shine in comparison

Agreed. However, we just didn't have a good bunch of pacers back then to back up that batting line-up and now it's the other way around. Don't be fooled by this one good innings where the batters batted well. They have been rather inconsistent and woeful recently. That being said, I would like to be hopeful but hopes have been known to be ruthlessly dashed before. Fingers crossed
