Just stop having India and Pakistan in the same group, it’s no longer a 50/50 game and heavily weighted in India’s favour

Naw, If Ireland beats USA and if Pakistan beats Canada and Ireland Pakistan will progress to super 8's.

All that's left is kudrat ki nizam for Ireland.

Shaheen has just not imporved as a bowler
He is still the same bowler he was when he first started it's just that teams have studied him and this fella got busy with social media and stardom
 
Great shot by Rohit, Shaheen has to be a bit patient , not even Wasim tried to blast a world class batsmen like he does .
There is enough in conditions to get India out but we must ensure patience n focus aggression
 
Apart from Kohli Indian players don’t look much fitter than Pakistan players . In a 3 hour match , fitness isn’t required but the fittest are often the champions

I agree to some extent , but even if you have one trick you can be smart about it and not try to use it every ball, Shaheen has no set up plan at all

Rain looked pretty heavy, I'm guessing the only win Pakistan can take from today is the toss........

India hasn't won anything since 2011. Fitness is always important in sport.
 
Shaheen looked very nervous for the first 4 balls it seemed as he was just going through the motions
 
I kept telling people before as well. Shaheen even in his prime was a one trick pony. In his prime he relied on that killer inswing which managed to get class batsmen like rohit out.

However afterwards he was a poor Middle overs and death over bowler. Either overpitching, banging it short and just not having any variation or anything.

After injury he lost his killer inswing, so now he's useless through and through

Was supposed to start at 3:30. It’s 4:38 now and we have only had one over so far

So frustrating!

If game is washed out then Ireland needs to beat USA 100%. As USA won't beat India and India ain't loosing to any minnows and will qualify for 7 points if game is rained off.

Pakistan has to beat Canada and Ireland and will qualify with 5 points while India will have 7.

If USA beats Ireland then no shot. As USA will qualify with 6, India will have 7.

If USA lose to India and Ireland then pak through ( assuming they win other games )
 
We will start losing overs if game does not start back in few minutes.

I wouldn't say he's a one trick pony, he has some fantastic weapons in his arsenal, he just has very poor control of line and length. Just a slightly better version of Muhammad Irfan who also had real issues bowling in the right channels.

We'll probs have an 18 over game, I think this is the last shower.

It's not heavy enough to cause an entire stop, and skies are clear across ny just dark clouds across the stadium but they'll pass

They need a cut off time for the game to be finished. Broadcasters, groundstaff, logistics, players. You can't expect them to wait hours for the rain to stop and then still play 20 overs.

Frustrating for the crowd , send Azam out with a baseball bat to hit some home runs into the crowd .

What variations does he have? He's not great at bowling slow balls, bouncers, offcutters, he's dreadful at reverse swing, he doesn't have a knuckle ball, no outswing either? Amd this man can't read the pitch or get into the mind of the batsmen.

Anyone knows you should bowl away from rohits body as that's where he tends to struggle, Dale steyn exposed rohit for this. Or just go for that killer inswing.

Bowling short to hitman or on his pads is suicide. That's where he punishes you the most.

Dark clouds in Toronto as well, but no rain.
 
There should be no rain now after this. Not even a light drizzle. Radar shows absolutely nothing after this. It should get bright and sunny in the afternoon.
 
Game being called off would be a great result. Just so the BCCI lose a win

in 36 minutes , 20 overs should have been completed .... they need to start reducing overs now !

During his first over - they showed his bowling spell against India couple of years ago. Since then he has lost fluidity and flow to his bowling. That injury really set him back.

He gets tremendous swing with the new ball and bounce. That alone would trouble most batsmen if he could stop bowling wides or half volleys. It's his lack of accuracy which is the real problem.

He's finished and has been for a while

He was comfortably outbowled down under by domestic journeymen in the team including one who was even driving a taxi once upon a time
