His father was a big cricketer and the dude probably has very good relations with the Mumbai cricket association, he is always in good books of BCCI because he doesn't criticize them much he is just not a fan of Indian cricket except the Mumbai ones(excluding Sachin).

Just the other day in India vs Nepal he was mentioning indirectly how useless are your 100's if you can't win the match referring to India vs Aus ODIs.
