ICC World Cup 2023: Australia (241/4) defeat India (240 all out) by 6 wickets to win the final of ICC World Cup 2023

Head played like a headless chicken in the first 10. Should have snagged him then. Game seems to be aussies to lose from here on

RizBabar weren't half bad as Rahul was.

Best part is, people were still defending him.
Tells you how.patheitc Pak bowling was. India breezed through first 15 and Pak bowlers couldn't swing the ball.

Just remembered what Cummins told yesterday. It's just cruel how 130000 spectators 8s being made silent here. Heartbreaking...

Bumrah on.

First ball 4.

Gem of an innings from Head TBF.

Iyer short ball
Sky t20 hack
Weak player mentally Rahul
So India's usual suspects came back to bit them hard big time lol

Those middle overs killed India's game. It's clear now.

Disastrous batting from Rahul.
Not entirely. Pitch has eased as the commies said. Batsmen are able to hit through the line in the second innings

Expected at least in this game, SKY will repay the faith shown on him by the team management, alas, not to be.

Not sure how many ODIs we will be playing going forward but Post this WC, we have to rejig our ODI setup with loads fresh faces.

this format doesn’t do justice to number 1 and number 2 . Good they are changing from next WC

IPL superstars wont be too affected much by the loss as theyll still have their ipl season ahead and earn big bucks.

Have been saying this. Rahul lost this for us. He had hogged so much strike and what did he do? Score 60-odd runs and killed the game in the first innings itself

It should be noted the ball was still swinging when he decided to operate with spinners in both ends. Disappointing captaincy, he's had such a brilliant WC otherwise

Another great shot for 4 from Head off an attempted yorker.

This Travis Head seeing the ball like a football.

India needs to take 2-3quick wickets!

That ball should miss leg stamp. But who knows it's India in action. That Jadeja review...

Tough luck there but can't blame the umpire. That looked going down leg.

If India lose they lost it in the first innings. Many thought 250 is enough. When I heard of dew could be around and having seen the wicket how it behaved there was nothing malicious about the wicket might have been on slowish side but that 66 off 107 balls with only one boundary was just madness. He came and slowed it right down. Neither the t20 specialist did anything at the end to take the score up to 260-270.

14 off Bumrah. Good stuff from Aus.

Unfortunate not to get Marnus LBW

Then imagine how much mazaa we Indians had by beating your sorry team by 229 runs in Asia cup and 36/8 in world cup.

Fans like you never learn...jitne baar bhi harao... fir bhi nehi sudharte..LOL

:ashwin

Fans from both sides enjoy trolling each other, dont be angry dude :)

Richard Kettleborough will never out as he always baised towards india. He gave Virat out in 2019 semi on umpire call .

Looked like missing leg. Not sure how ball tracking has got that clipping the leg stump.

79 to win from 22 overs.

This game is reminding me of Pak-Ind 2004 Platinum Jubilee match.

Salman Butt did in that game what Head is doing in this game.

That's my target 160 with this partnership intact. Game seems to be done. Great innings by Head and terrific bowling by aussies. Especially Cummins. Head rode his luck but he's been brave. Deserves it

The spinners have bowled well. The batsmen have just been very good technically. This is a great effort

Idiotic of Rohit to say, he'd have batted first anyways had he won the toss.

Games not over. I wonder how long it will take India to become this good again. Regardless of the result their team is great but by the next world cup Rohit, Kholi, Shami, and Jadeja probably won't be there. Bhumrah and Siraj might be passed their peak (33-34).
