No, Pakistan isn't a great batting team.

The philosophy are team applies is bat at 4-5 runs per over in 30 overs and then bat t20 style in final 20.

This works for chasing, not for batting first. For batting first you need to try and bat at 5-8 from the get go, take singles, punish bad balls, accelerate as much as possible, try to post the biggest total.

This is why we falter a bit batting first I the current era.
