Uhh I think your looking at it a bit too deep, india will still quakify because bang, Sri lanka, nedtherlands are easy points to grabSets the momentum for rest of the tournament
2021 t20 india lost---knocked out
2022 asia cup india lost- knocked out
2023 asia cup Pak lost- Knocked out
only exception is come from behind the stotry in 2017 CT.
2007 t20 group game won by India final won by India .
Winning in group stages can be a confidence booster too , if they meet again knock outs.
ODI’s will only be the real deal when they sort out the balance between bat and ball.
The format isn’t dying, it is being killed.
ICC need to pull their finger out already.
Odi will be fine, people are overreacting. Since covid 19 more t20 were played including 2 t20 asia cups and 2 t20 world cup side by side year by year
Because teams didn't want to play test or odi for long.
You'll see it come back to full life in the 2023-2027 period especially with ct 2025 and world cup 2027 around the corner.
As for the whole sides play their 2nd string, that's always been the case lol . Everyone plays 2nd string so they can become world class and get incorporated into 1st string lol before the eve of a tournament.
Only Sachin was the one who was obsessed with literally playing everything even against minnows lol.
That doesn't mean the format is dying, this has been the case since I've been watching cricket since 2011. Yh the 2 new ball rule needs to go though, that rule is annoying. The rest is fine tbh.
