Going into the final ODI, they face the prospect of another series defeat. Jason Holder's men will look to lift themselves up and finish with a win, if they are to avoid slipping to No.8 on the MRF Tyres ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings.

India, meanwhile, are on the verge of registering their ninth successive series win against West Indies. While Virat Kohli continued his dominance in the 50-over format, Shreyas Iyer made a strong case for himself with a fluent 71 on his return. India will hope for a strong performance from Shikhar Dhawan, who is yet to produce an innings of note on the tour so far.

Remember the last time
Powered by Kohli's 42nd ODI hundred, India posted 279/7 after winning the toss on Sunday. At 148/3 in the 28th over, with set batsmen Evin Lewis and Nicholas Pooran at the crease, West Indies looked well on course to chase down the revised target of 270 in 46 overs. However, they lost four wickets in two overs not long thereafter, and were eventually bundled out for 210 in 42 overs for a 59-run defeat by the DLS method.

Jason Holder, West Indies captain: "We bowled really well and the game was in our hands. We need to take the game deep. The pitch was pretty good but the bowlers despite the humid conditions did well. The batters have to take the responsibility. They have been letting us down far too often."

Shreyas Iyer, India middle-order batsman: "I knew I was going to do well, I played for India A and I played in these grounds, paced my innings well, and think it went well. I am thankful for what I managed. I want to stay in the team for a while, the consistency is always important, I want to play well and contribute to the team."

Conditions
A full 100-over game is doubtful, as there is forecast for rain throughout the day. Teams batting first have won five of the last six ODIs at Queen's Park Oval, and hence the toss might once again play a crucial role.

Captain and coach are busy saving their own seats for the next World Cup. They don't have time to think about others. We are going to lose upcoming ICC tournaments as well. Thanks to Kohli and his ego. If he had any shame he would have resigned from the captaincy. We haven't won any major ICC tournament under him and he still has the guts to ask for Shastri as our coach again.

This team looks all messed up currently. Jadhav should be kicked and Pant should bat at 6/7. Guys like Gill should be given a chance now.

Kohli was reasonably strong even in the world cup with 5 fifties. He is such a natural risk free cricketer. That is why he will continue to be consistent. You want to get him. Do it very early in the first 2 or 3 overs.
