What's new

India [289/3] defeat Australia [286/9] by 7 wickets and win 3rd ODI; Win series by a 2-1 margin

Point is as a bowler he can create a chance any time. That is why he is the best spinner in India in LOI. I am not sure whether you actually like Chahal or you like him just to hate CHahal. CHahal can be very good or very very bad. We have seen him enough with wet ball. There is nothing mystery about him. You can line up against him when the ball doesnt turn.

I genuinely like chahal he’s a brave bowler. I’ve never seen him cry after getting hit for runs and his confidence doesn’t get shatttered. Look he’s so relax and calm and happy even though he’s being left out for several games. They had questions I’ve his fielding he’s been outstanding as a sub. The same kuldeep while in the side is not even running to the ball kohli was fuming at him he even forgets about the team when he is not bowling well he only thinks about himself hence loses concentration in the game anyways they can keep playing kuldeep eventually chahal will play.

Smith is so useless he won’t even change his gears this is where kohli will always be 10x a better batsman than him test cricket is overrated it’s about overall and kohli is miles ahead. This guy plays way too slow for odi cricket he has that test cricket mindset even test cricket he takes like 400 balls to score a century

I disagree. He is the best batsman. Test cricket is real cricket. Kohli is almost equal to him but slight edge to smith so far.

In odi yes Kohli is better. Smith is not too far behind though. He is a clutch player in World Cup games.

Smith is a better percentage test cricketer like DHoni is a better percentage cricketer in ODI.

Smith needs to get going here. Playing too slow in a crunch time.

but is he good? specialist keepers are important in ODIs.

He looks as good as a specialist keeper. Only question is whether he can take the load. Otherwise he is very good both with reviews and takes. General awareness is very good.

Turnee can turn this match into Aus's favour. need a quick 40, 50 cameo.

TBH if Babar scored a century like this we would be bashing his lack of impact and hitting ability.

Absolute disgrace that Turner and Agar are I. The team ahead of Maxwell and Stoinis

Saini's death bowling has to improve vastly. THird match in a row after good first spell he is missing it.

Even against West Indies saini messed up in the end overs. ONly in the last match he did okay. But main batsmen were already out.

I haven't seen a bat more clutch than Smith in the history of cricket. He always performs when it matters, tests or ODIs.

You mould de Villiers ability with Smith's clutch factor and you get the greatest batsmen of all-time.

AUS 258/6 (45.4) CRR: 5.65
Australia opt to bat

Lol, Shami got a wicket on a 6 hitting ball. It was on slot but Smith is no hitter.

I think India will struggle as Dhawan is out. They just need 2 wickets. Rohit/Kohli. I know Rahul is in form. But he is not exactly known for chasing big totals down. He could. But when it comes to chasing big Dhawan/Rohit/Kohli always scored big.

With the old ball no bowler is as good as Shami, one of the finest seam positions I have seen in a fast bowler.

Both OZ and India face similar issue. If anything Aussie is in worse situation. Agar is more a no.8 batsman not no.7. Carey is more a no.7 bat. not no.5 Even Turner is a no.7 not no.6

Aus 286/9* 50 Overs crr 5.72
Aus win the toss and elected to bat

But the flip side to that is it's a begining of a new cycle after the last world cup so I guess it's a slow process to build for next world cup

yes. There is no dearth of potential there. Mitch Marsh, Maxwell, Stoinis can take up the all rounder spot.

stoinis is ****. marsh is a home track fodder. Not good enough. will get swatted around.

Maxwell yes. he is needed for australia.

I would bring in jhye richardson over hazelwood.

Felling sleepy. Stupid me. Shouldn't have watched their batting. Now i can't control. Hope India gets there when i wake up.
