Mitch Marsh is the best Australian allrounder in ODIs l,it's very harsh to drop him based on test performances.
 
What a star this bloke Smith is. Always comes to life in important matches against big teams. Where are those people who were saying that Smith cant score fastly. And if that is the case then the indians are so stupid to pay so much to an accumlator in IPL where they have so many options

No one said that about smith. If anything only Pakistanis claimed that smith is just a useless accumulator.

Chasing a score less than 300 is right up India’s alley. Aussies will need to bowl out of their skin to defend 286 in India.
 
Hazlewood’s accuracy today has been impeccable. Bowling at death isnt his strength so Finch will need to male sure he utilizes Hazlewood’s quota earlier.

Constantly shifting up and down.Even Kohli found it tough to adjust at 4

A series where zampa haa comfortably outbowled our much vaunted leg spinners. Both have lost confidence for some reason and I don't know if it has to do with the team management.

Finch has handed over the game to us by trying Labu and himself when Agar and Zampa were bowling really well

Its about pitch than the bowling

These two need to stay as long as possible. 180/2 can become 200/5 quickly with our middle order

No need to take chances unless really needed
 
Pandya absolutely demolished Zampa last time. These guys are averse to dominate spinners unless the ball is really bad.
 
This Iyer dude is as good as Pandya when it comes to hitting six against spinners. But he faces starc when he walks in.
 
They should not have sent Rahul as opener... Stupidity again by management! Just because he showed some consistency in some matches they put got overconfident (even if Rahul himself favored to open they should have said to him Shut up and carry on what he was doing well in the middle order... That's the best way for him to get back even into Test side!)

Cummins is bowling really fast. But i don't think he should do that. Both Rohit and Kohli are good against raw pace. You have to take the pace off

yes. But he has this issue against wrong uns. Adil Rashid sneaked one between bat and pad in England series. Because of his trigger movement he is unable to adjust for wrong uns sometimes. Also he is a risk free cricketer. So he won't go for sixes.

Mate, India will destroy them in India regardless whether they win the toss or not in tests. Odi is 60 40 in india’s Favour.
In Australia, Australia is the favourite in tests but its 5050 depending on wehther India wins the toss or not. Kohli is undefeated in tests when he wins the toss. Home and away included.

Had a bad day. But he is not like Starc in one dayers. No real threatening record in the ODIs. Eventually Jhye Richardson will come in.

Peak Kohli in tests or odi will always be the better player at their absolute best\peak Smith is more consistent in tests though. Very small margin. I think if Kohli gives up his captaincy in tests he can overtake him.

I thought jhye is too short rofl according to height troll boy junaids? Bumrah is exactly the same height as jhye. Shami is even shorter. Jhye will be a good bowler.
 
Warner & Smith who? Lol! Two of the greatest ODI Players at the crease taking this chase as a piece of cake, yet again! We're blessed to watch them play live. These two are once in a generation players and left all the other so called Superstars in dust. There's light years gap after these 2 in world cricket currently. Feeling sad for other teams that don't even possess even one such player. How blessed are we indians!

But captaincy isn't affecting his batting.Infact hes doing better

Kohli is more flamboyant. So he will offer you chance. His first instinct is not to protect his wicket. He plays according to situation. Smith is an accumulator.

It is astonishing to see how someone like Cummins has not added slower ball to his armory. Even Starc doesn't bowl slower ball. or even Hazlewood.
 
India and Australia are equal on pattas.. India better in other pitches.

England better than India in pattas. India better in slow pitches, turners.
Both are equal on bouncy pitches.
 
cummins needs a rest, should not have played this sereis in the first place, bowling way too much.

one can see the effect of s tiring season on him

infact, he may end up a test specialist, jhye richardson is a much better choice in limited overs
