Pathetic decition to drop Starc this pitch is not sand pit even Bhu Kumar is getting movement :lee

uski turn agli series me ayegi

By the looks of it, uski turn kabhi nayi ayegii :facepalm

I think BCCI have spent lots of time and energy for this lad, but he is not finding consistency. I still have tiny ... very tiny hope for him since Age is still with him.

Hope Ishant achieves his milestone today, would be a honor to witness it live :sami

Another gone, but that seemed like poor umpirimg. Ball pitched outside, but the appeal too big for the umpire.

It was marginal I reckon. Looks half and half outside leg stump or not but surely hitting middle.

half ball was in leg stump, would have been umpire call imo

Total silence from commentators on the decision being a shocker, even AB! / #BCCIpayroll

Sod off Cowan and Warner.

Prepare for Watto to go lbw.

Oh come on, take off your biased glasses and try too look it from a neutral view. That clearly pitched outside and the umpire looked very hesitant giving it.

Looks like Ozs are Psychiologically so down and out that they have forget to play swing bowling :don

lol, these commentators are pathetic but then again their job is on the line...

Listen to what Border says, "look very plumb" doubt about where it pitched. Doesn't look that much out side leg stump line honestly.

Good to see the mighty future captain Ed Cowan out for an epic 4.

Australians haven't being able to play any sort of moving ball for years.

Hence Welegedara etc

"Kumar to Cowan, OUT, Bhuvneshwar on fire, incoming delivery to the left-hander once again, starts across with the angle, and moves in, Marais Erasmus thinks this is hitting the stumps, replays suggest it is, but they also show it pitched just outside leg stump, Cowan caught in front of middle on the defensive push, and done in by the umpire, I don't care how long you haggle over the intricacies of the DRS, get the third umpire to weed out these howlers, and you can carry on with your haggling."

It's Warner they're talking up as a future skipper.

I'm hoping that either Henriques or Mitch Marsh can establish themselves before Clarke retires so this doesn't happen.

yeah. That was not out. Bad umpiring.

I miss the days when commentators actually said what was on their mind and reported facts, also when tv channels actually showed replays of wrong decisions.. guess that's too much to ask nowadays.

I still cant believe starc is not playing when Bhuv kumar can get some movement Starc would have been lethal :msd

India off to a flying start. Both openers gone yikes.

Anyway, Erasmus is terrible umpire anyway, not surprised by his decision. He has given worse decisions than this.

Quality of umpiring is crap these days, no Simon Taufel either and Aleem dar going through bad form... Dharmsena umpire of the year  . A donkey can't be worse than him as umpire

Ishant is losing all the pressure created by Bhuvi. At least runs toh stop kar de bhai.

Aus needs to score with a healthy run rate before ball starts turning..

Ishant was going to be the next Curtly Ambrose :))) Curtly gave away less runs in entire matches than this guy does it one spell :sami

Half the ball pitched in line.don't know what the fuss is about

When it comes to pitching outside leg more than half the ball must be inside. Otherwise not out. It's not the same as when they determine where the impact was, where it reverts back to umpire's call even if half the ball is shown not to be hitting in line.

Looks like a result surface .Extremely defensive team selection by Aussies , just 3 bowlers & 2 batting all-rounders .
43/2

The Cowan decision would have been out on drs as well.so drs lovers give it a rest.

I know but they've been talking up Cowan too, apparently they like his "leadership qualities".

David Warner and Ed Cowan must contemplate leading Australia after Michael Hussey's retirement added further to the leadership conundrum created by Michael Clarke's tender hamstring and Shane Watson's uncertain international future.

Warner and Cowan have both been mentioned as potential captains, after leading various teams in the past 12 months. Warner led the Sydney Thunder and a CA Chairman's XI last summer, while Cowan guided Australia A on their winter tour of England and showed his batting could benefit from the extra responsibility by comfortably topping the tour aggregates.

I may be old fashioned but I reckon you need to be pretty much a lock in for selection before you can be considered as captain.

Keep Ishant on, he may bowl Hughes back into form

Allright Aus two wickets down, but they are not messing around, already posted almost 50 runs. Pakistan at this stage would have been 24/3

Dhoni dropped a sitter:))) :)))

hear Akmal haters..

Hughes and Watson doing a good job. Need a big partnership though. Can't put every thing on Clarke's shoulders time and time again. No Hussey to back him up this time around.

Time for spinners from both ends me thinks. :msd
