What's new

India v New Zealand | 2nd Test | Hyderabad | 12-16 November 2010

Whats up with Sreesanth? I've always thought of him as a wicket-taking bowler....:13:

Khabri Sreesanth=massively overrated "wicket-taker"...lives off a good spell in Jo'burg and a good comeback spell a year ago

^It's funny because when not talking abt India ITKhumbee sounds surprisingly sane...unfortunately the mention of Indian batsmen hurls him into a frenzy

Azhar Mahmood averages almost double than Sachin in SA...but we dont call him better than Bradman etc

India's batsmen have been OK but unspectacular in RSA. Tendulkar, Laxman and Kapil Dev have had decent runs there :13:

Lol I always liked Azhar Mahmood...used to stand at the wicket with his mouth wide open. At first he excelled with the bat, later with the ball--trouble was he rarely did both, and was inconsistent

I always rated Zaheer well ahead of Sreesanth, whose main success was in WI and RSA 2006 but who leaked runs and wasn't quite as good as his supporters made out

from cricinfo ....
Aaron: "So far this series we have a maiden test century, a maiden test century on debut, a return to form century, a return from injury century, a maiden test century in the new position of opener, a first century opening stand since 2004 (or something) and a first time a No 8 has scored two centuries in a row. Clearly first centuries are the fashion at the moment - and not 50th centuries."

Sree is not god to enough to talk until he shows some consistency ....:)

btw he'll be better in bowling friendly pitches

NZ letz play some T20 stuffs here and make another very fast 150 runs lead will be around 350 ...fir kuch sama bane ...:)

they are batting really well ....and here we even don't trying hard just formalities ....

in this type of situations captains & umpires should have authority to called of the match to save the precious time of spectators.....btw they are batting really well..

Lax invited Doull for an all veggie feast and he rejected it.....He wanst chicken & meat

Hobbitz looking good.

Bat another 20 overs and declare.

Lets see if India can give us a repeat performance (5-15 :P)

Sensational batting from McCullum.

Knocking India right out of the match.

who will be the man the of the match McCullum or bhajji?
It has to be Mccullum. He saved the rest for NZ.

I would have given to Bhajji had he scored 50 less but taken 3 wickets in the second innings 5th day pitch.

There is no need to declare match is draw so do some batting practice for next match
Brendon McCullum also can score 200+

Kiwis shouldn't declare, just run them into the ground. Don't even agree to call the game off early. Triple century for Mccullum.

I don't think they will and take a risk with Sehwag. That guy can reduce the 200 lead to 100 in a matter of 15 overs.

definitely Sehwag factor in declare even when he is not good in 4th Inning ...but cannot take risk ....lead is just 210

Congratz to Bhaji on his second century of the match :P

sehwag dont have a good record in 2nd innings :yk
Correct but if I am opposition captain, I will not trust statistics when dealing with Sehwag.

Remember England Vs India in Mumbai ? 381 needed in 3+ sessions on 5th day. Who expected Sehwag to fire in second innings?

Anything around 250 with 2 sessions on a flat track like this is risky.

Congrats to Baz for getting to his double!!

This match is surely headed for a draw!

I wonder if the Dhoni is a little bit frustrated at not winning a match against Kiwis at home during this series...

Imagine if NZ wins the 3rd match somehow,, that would be chaotic!

New Zealand are idiots for not declaring. In 36 overs there's a veryslim opportunity to knock off India--they won't get a better opportunity to push for victory than this. Stupid defensive-minded fools

Kiwis might as well keep the indians in the field to the end of the game and take the series into the final test being 0-0!

yes and then India will prepare a minefield. Kiwis have NOTHING to lose by declaring. Utter fools

Now its out of reach even if you take a Sehwag blinder. Kiwis should try the third session giving India to bat.

Hopkins played a couple of decent cameos v Australia this year--the best of them a cracking 36 in a Twenty20--but by and large his batting looks pathetic

7 out of last 8 tests between the teams in India have been draws!

Looks like it will be 8 in 9 now!

The same bowlers could easily take 20 aussie wickets a month back. Whats wrong while taking kiwi wickets ?

Are kiwi batmen are better than aussies? can't be. come on Bhajji.
