wait and watch , goose .. thats how it works in India.

Yes i am waiting for the highest score in cricket to come from the astro turf covered concrete pitches. I am waiting for both teams to be 5/600 and declare.
Still waiting! :)))

Of course one advantage of an empty stadium is being able to hear practically everything said out on the pitch.
Another advantage is that you don't have to empty the stadium in order to continue with the match in case the crowd decides enough is enough. :p

And you dont have to worry about pitch invasions because there are 50 security people for every spectator on the ground! :)))

Neo tv (Indian channel) which is showing match here in US and Canada keep saying this line arrogantly, i thought u would have seen it on neo. The way some crap voice says arrogantly "watch WORLD NUMBER 1 TEAM INDIA taking on world number 2 team south africa..."

gives me a laugh more than anything

why indian always having matches in nagpur and north?? why not in chennai or banglore nowadays?

they are saying it as WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF CricKET

Clowns :inti

Now Amla raises his 50 well played mate!! Shame nobody was there to clap ya for it.

57.3
Sehwag to Amla, 1 run, 83.8 kph, 50 up. Amla gets there with a sweep shot. The players from the dressing room applaud but not much celebration from Amla.

all we are saying,
is give pace a chance.

HArbhadulkar's economy rate now 4.5

My sixth sense tells me a wicket is around the corner. That of the big fish.

Where's the MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT? I thought he was going to blow these Saffa pretenders away by bowling at 200kmh?

dont worry they are number 1 side, just allowing South africa the world number 2 team to try and make this game interesting...just tired cuz of those easy wins u know.

Man you can even hear through the umpires' walkie talkies.

*last over to tea*

60.5
Khan to Kallis, (no ball) FOUR, 125.0 kph, bangs it in short, on the leg stump line, Kallis swivels to pull it away to the square-leg boundary. Ravi shastri informs us that Kallis has crossed 1000 runs in Test cricket against India. From 12 games

Zaheer is back...why hasn't the MIGHTY AND TALL ISHANT made an appearance yet to show his worth?

South Africa have 4 wins and 4 losses against India in India, which all things considered is a very good record.

2/193 at tea, Kallizzz :28: on 120 Amla on 60

Actually I am following the match on Geo Super. So while I have to put up with a number of stupid things like moronic mobile phone ads etc, I am saved from the stupidity on offer from Neo, which incidentally means 'urine' in Japanese.

That is just annoying to be honest........ :po:

Amla edges between Murali Vijay and MS Dhoni for a four to bring Saffies 200.

200 Partnership courtesy another edge through the vacant 2nd slip.

Zaheer asks for Sachin's advice and gets hit for four immediately.

2/ 217!

Lets guess, this will be a 2000 run test match! Can India push the runs any higher with the pitches!

Bring it on!! Where is Saffer? I am sure he will make an appearance tomorrow if we are not doing very well

Nostradamus ? Is that you ?

Lol. Seriously though India...you didn't win the toss on a bad wicket. Er...what's plan B ?

Good fightback by S.A so far. No shock that balls turning sqaure on day 1.

S.A need to get 400+ before pitch crumbles and dissapears and we are left with just the outfield.

Man batting in Indis is so easy! If Kallis played 50% of his matches here like the over rated Tendulkar etc he would average 100 in tests. instead of the amazing 55 he averages even though he bats in difficult South African conditions 50% of the time. Clearly the greatest player after bradman ever !

I won't go as far as rating him the second best after Bradman, but yes he is easily a better player than Tendulkar.

Not in the slightest. He's a great batsman , slip fielder and has bowled more than his share of match winning spells to boot. He's a great , great player ! He's a humble guy and deserves some credit for his amazing record.

I dont agree that he is next to bradman....

Ponting is next to bradman, then kallis and then its daylight...

PS- Flat track bullies and minnow bashers are not considered.

Why is ISatan Sharma unable to touch 135kmph??
Any reasons?

dont blame the pitch for this as well

LoL, we are watching some contenders who according to fans are 2nd after Bradman.

Kallis, Punter...come on who next?

:)))

World class batsmen = Yes

Match winning bowler = Cant say he is to be honest, Good bowler yes

2nd best after Bradman = No

He deserves recognition but not to be overhyped.

Man bowling in India is so difficult! If agarkar played 50% of his matches there like the over rated pollock donald etc he would average very less in tests. instead of the mid 30 he averages even though he bowl in easy South African conditions 50% of the time. Clearly the greatest BOWLER after asif ever !

:14:

A debate seems to have started about who is the greatest Cricketer after Bradman. But of course there's somebody even better than Bradman, you know. :afridi

Change of pace by Ishant. :))

I would have thought you needed to have pace to attempt a change in it.

from 133.9 to 134.0 kmph is considered a big change

if you didnt know that than you dont deserve to watch indian cricket sir :D

Notice how Kallizzz :28: has slowed down somewhat as his partner nears his own century. Sign of not only a good batsman but a supportive partner.
