Dravid is such a fool .. Gangu got the breakthrough .. now is time to bring the main bowlers back on .. why is he persisting with Gangu who is just going for runs

I'm sure Dravid being the so-called mister nice guy wants to not offend Gangu by taking him off ... what a moron.. Gangu should just refuse to bowl and *suggest* bringing back Zaheer to this fool ...
 
I don't think there are enough overs left for the strike bowlers. Harbhajan back on replacing Patel. Maybe he is going to wait for the ball change

anyway ... yuvi tendlya and shewag can still bowl and might either break this partnership or hopefully be less expensive than gangu
 
Was it "Iffy" ....Cricbuzz reports it was plumb but I am not watching this live....so dunno

no sixes yet in SL innings. SL cannot lose a wicket for next 3 overs. Silva might do something but other than that it is probably Vaas and Murali

Any comments on the pictch?? Is it helpfull for the bolwers or has India done a fanastic job in containing in SL so far.............

What would be a gettable score in these circumstances?

Khan to Silva, OUT, now Silva falls. Just like Dilshan did, he also walks without waiting for the umpire's call. Zaheer gets him with a slower one. An off cutter. Full and outside off and Silva is through with his off drive a touch too early. Gets a nick which is swallowed by Dhoni. Two new batsmen at the crease.

BATTING PARADISE.......... hmmm so India is in a pretty good shape!! the only threat would be Vass.......... unless he gets some early wickets and gets the middle order under some pressure!!
 
The wicekt seems to be slowing down. The key for me is Murali but I think an Indian win. 250 is not enough.
 
yeah, i think India can easily reach 260-280, if SL manages to get that in the last 2 overs left
 
I dont think its that easy. SL should be pretty happy with this total considering the way indians are batting.

SL bowling is not a joke, Indian do have some serious batters in the middle.
This will be a close match it seems.

Its going to be a close game IF india doesnt lose wickets early. Right now I don't have much confidence in that.
 
If India doesn't lose more than 1 or 2 wickets in the first 15 they will win easily.

Reason is Sehwag and Uthappa haven't shown us any reason to believe they are going to stick it out in the middle. Gangu's inability to find the gaps and keep the scoreboard ticking. These three need to give india a solid start and a fast start without losing their wickets. Without that I think there will be too much pressure on Sachin, Dravid, Yuvraj and dhoni to finish the job.

Add to that only 2 teams have ever chased down 250 or more batting second in Trinidad.

Uthappa is out of form....he may regain it in this match since it is about time!

Sehwag already regained his form.

ganguly....in only one who is consistantly scoring for you guys lately - specially in this WC. He was the one who held one end in both games - vs BD and Ber. You must have not follwoed those games closely! ;-)

Dravid/Sachin. for them, piece of cake!

Dhoni...may even come in at one down to finsh the game early!

Although If India get past the Vass/Malingah over first up and Murli in the middle overs without the loss of too many wickets, there home free... total looks to be in India's grasp, 270+ could have been a more testing total.

India i think are a better fielding side then SL. that will be the difrence in the balanced match.
 
Srilanka were 130 odd after 32 overs. That means they scored 124 runs in the next 18 overs. That is disgusting. India did not finish the job they started. They needed to get wickets to stem the run scoring which they didnt.

As the commentators put it the difference between both teams is the fielding which SL excel in. Looks like someone agrees with me.
