When: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Eliminator, November 6, 18:00 Local, 19:30 IST

Where: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

What to expect: The toss at Abu Dhabi will be significant once more with the last five fixtures all having won by the chasing team. Anrich Nortje admitted that dew had begun to set in the second half of the first innings and that is the least the team batting first will hope for to mitigate the major toss disadvantage.

Squads:

Royal Challengers Bangalore Squad: Josh Philippe, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers(w), Chris Morris, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Shahbaz Ahmed, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Moeen Ali, Parthiv Patel, Dale Steyn, Aaron Finch, Umesh Yadav, Pawan Negi, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Adam Zampa, Pavan Deshpande

I think this will be a close game. SRH have the momentum but RCB can't be ruled out with ABDV in there ranks!

Rashid Khan v RCB in the IPL

Innings : 7
Wickets : 8
Economy : 7.78 rpo
Balls per Boundary : 6.5

Conceding at 7.78 rpo v RCB - it's the costliest of all opposition for Rashid.

I support them due to moeen but I can't believe moeen ali only played 2 games for this team and instead that trundler ultra slow bowler isuru udana played so many games. If moeen plays today then i hope they win this one.

Chris Morris was seen limping in Kohli's birthday party. It would be a big hit for RCB's balance.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the toss and have opted to field

Done and Dusted.
We lost toss again.

I would like RCB to win the tournament but don't mind if DC or SRH win the tournament. Don't want Mumbai winning it every year. But they are extremely well run and fully deserve their success.

Teams:

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Playing XI): Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers(w), Moeen Ali, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Navdeep Saini, Adam Zampa, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): David Warner(c), Shreevats Goswami(w), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Jason Holder, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan

Chris Morris misses out with a quad injury, Joshua Phillipe is out as well. Aaron Finch is back, so is Adam Zampa. Saini replaces Shahbaz Ahmed

Stat: 11th toss won by Warner in IPL 2020. In eight-team editions, only Rohit Sharma in 2017 & MS Dhoni in 2018 has won as often. Not to mention, Rohit & Dhoni went to win the IPL in the respective seasons.

Only two seamers (including Siraj). So we will bowl in the death overs if its a close game?

Chahal

4 proper spinners on display. Come on Kohli don’t mess this up!

Cheer up bro. With Shivam Dube in the side, its very difficult to beat RCB. I have a feeling he will come to the party tonight.

Hopefully we get a close last few games. This has been a brilliant IPL. Deserves to finish with some close games.

King_Kohli we wanted Kohli to open. He is today

Sandeep Sharma has a good record against Kohli. High risk strategy by RCB here.

Kohli will aim to bat through and set it up for AB and Moen to finish the innings.

Kohli would probably open for India in T20s if it wasn't for Dhwaan and KL.

Supporting RCB today. Will support them again against Delhi walas.

Akhir final mein Kohli ki beizzati bhi toh dekhni hain woh bhi Hitman ke haathon.....:akhtar

It's remarkable how SRH have gotten to the play offs without Bhuvi Kumar.

Holder
Bhuvi
Rashid Khan
Sandeep
Natarajan

That is a decent attack. SRH may want to strengthen their batting, but next season I would expect them to have a good season.

They will reach the finals this season too

You could be blind and still know that Finch has zero timing out there

Trevor Bayliss. Great coach

I would love this guy to give us 2 years before the world cup

4 changes for the knockout match, changes the opening combo. Only Kohli is allowed to make such horrible mistakes tournament after tournament yet remains the captain of India and RCB.

If Mitch Marsh didn't get injured, Holder would be watching the tournament from home!

IPL is the best example why Kohli should not captain Indian Team! (Similarly Ravi Shastri is the kind of coach who is similar to RCB management - only talk & no tactics!)

Warner and Holder add leadership, but I'm sure Kane Williamson and Trevor Bayliss are having a big say in how SRH are set up tactically.

we always talk about kohli the captain when things are going well, but some of the decisions he makes, especially in crunch knockout games makes me wonder if he is actually just a front and whether he is actually a good leader and tactician.

Not just that, Kohli also lost his magical batting sense as soon as he took over captaincy!

Hopefully both RCB & India has a different captain next year!

For next year RCB need to sign a top class overseas fast bowler to partner Morris and a top class middle order player.

Rashid Khan overs are finished and AB still there. RCB hanging on by a thread.
