Please don't compare Kohli to Shehzad

Kohli is very serious abt his game and always looking to learn and improve himself.

And he doesn't overrate himself either

Kohli is just as arrogant and high about himself as Shehzad is. Shehzad can become just as big if he corrects his attitude.

he is arrogant but he works on his game and tries to improve himself

shehzad thinks he is the best there is already and gives out statements like ' I have nothing left to prove in cricket'

Unfortunately there is no helping Shehzad but himself.

Unbelievable

Someone ban this guy from playing cricket for PAK please. Anyone? Sheheryar?!

A clear example of stats not telling the whole picture.

Somehow, Shahzad is turning into his own fanboy and its cringeworthy.

I've never actively disliked a Pakistani player as much as I dislike Shehzad. I want him no where near the team ever again. Let Sami and Babar play. Let hafeez play at the top of the lineup for all I care, but not this idiot.

Everyone should tweet him that he had the second worst T20 innings ever. Lavishing indeed (***).

Whilst we are fine with people posting tweets of real cricketers, we will come down very hard on people who are posting tweets from fake accounts or from non-cricketers on this thread.

Completely agree with you. The one quality that I absolutely despise in a person is arrogance. You could be the best person in the world but if you are arrogant, I will hate you.

Is he actually playing golf or just watching kkr play? ;)

Think it was poor from him to get involved in a team where he's literally the only guy not getting a game. Azhars much better than a bench warmer. Shame to see such a lack of self respect for some dollar bills

Kamchor shehzad, is sunday a public holiday in pakistan? Isn't it similar to BD, friday and saturday? :moyo

No, most Pakistanis work 6 days a week with only day off being Sunday, except banks and multinational companies.

Friday is sometimes a half day otherwise there is just a 1.5-2 hour gap from 12-2 on Friday.

"YUCK!" this was my response when I saw this! Seriously who would post/ favorite such rubbish about himself on the tweeter?? This is not even funny.. It's sad actually!

I remember in an interview SRT was once asked how rates his own career. His response was "I think I have done reasonably well"

I can't even imagine if it was Shahzad instead of Sachin, what would he have said?? :razzaq

Pakistan Never Had Friday as weekly holiday. It's over 50 years I believe on Sunday full & Friday half :) I like that. If Friday is weekend holiday, you can never do anything on weekend, due to Jumma, apart from the inconvenience of business with the world.

After Jummah I like paying respect to my grand parents by visiting their grave, so I prefer Friday and Saturday

Also every friday Biryani time :inzi So no can do office

It's all fun and games, but you do realize posting tweets is not allowed on this forum, and if one of the mods sees it you can get in some trouble.

Posting tweets by official cricketer accounts is allowed, so I don't see what the problem is... if there is, please let me know Slog MenInG or any other mods.

Either this is Kaufmanesque performance art or Shehzad might just be one of the most unsavvy persons out there.

Now that my exams are over, I feel like making a troll twitter account just to make fun of Shehzad :inti so annoying....

Shehzad rightfully getting slammed but my god have people seen Sohail Tanveer's Twitter??

WHAT

AN

IDIOT

The tweets he's favoring and the way he's responding to not being picked?! What a total joke. Should never come 100000 feet near national team.

I haven't seen the tweets he's favoured, but he hasn't tweeted anything wrong. Congratulated Hammad and a few other guys on getting sslected, and then tweeted that he's off to play a few T20's for Somerset and then to go play in the CPL (?)

Check the tweets with replies...

Yep, Shehzad did favourite similar stuff when he got dropped for the BD series and Azhar was made captain. It's really poor attitude from our cricketers.

And then there was Younis who threw a tantrum after not being considered for ODIs.

If you're dropped, just go and perform in domestics and if you'll do well you will get called up.

I highly doubt that this behaviour exists with any other Test cricketing nations' players. Sad, really. Even RTing or favouriting tweets that are critical of selectors would be a pretty big no-no I'm sure with any of Eng, SA, Aus, etc. Plus, they're more mature.... but then, Team Man has set a precedent I guess. Though he is really the most recent high-profile one in a long list of moaning 'seniors' who take being dropped very badly. Whether or not they deserve it, is another story.... but this is just not on.

Prime example is Shoaib Malik, I'm not a fan of his but his performance especially in T20s has been solid.

To be fair, he was also running a campaign on Twitter not so long ago... #WeWantMalikBack. It's like an epidemic. Though I suppose running a campaign like that is actually not as bad as RT'ing criticism of selectors after squads have been announced.

Yeah that was pretty embarrassing as well. But he made runs so can't really criticize his selection.

True he deserved a recall after his domestic performances.

Also you can say anything about Fawad's technique but when he was dropped unfairly just before the 2011 WC despite being leading runscorer in 2010, and then again in 2014, he atleast acted like a professional rather than whining about it in the media or on Twitter.

Yeah for sure, but his performance vs BD in the ODIs was absolutely abysmal. I have a feeling he won't be selected for the ODIs vs Zimbabwe, despite his runs for the A team in the Tests.

On the positive side, what a show by Zimbabwe players. I think it's awesome that they're all using the #cricketcomeshome hashtag, and they're being really positive. Even Dav Whatmore's daughter tweeting about how touched she is by how they're being received and how excited she is for cricket to come.

No one can blame them for being nervous before coming, though I don't think a single one of them was inappropriate or out of line. Since coming, they and their board + players back home have been really gracious and appreciative.

In turn, they've been showered with love and gratitude, by our media, players, and most importantly Pakistanis.

Good showing all around. Inshallah it will last through a successful and safe tour.

Yep, he's too limited of a player to be playing at no. 6

Taking out all his frustration on Twitter, tweet after tweet on selfies!

Lol.

Hopefully he'll stick to domestic cricket and Twitter only. International cricket is not his cup of tea.
