Match Ka Mujrim (bechara) Thread

Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed, played stupid shots when we needed them to stay
 
Don't consider Hafeez a mujrim. He did what was expected of him.

Disappointed with Sarfraz though. Misbah is past his best now, not looking convincing these days.
 
Azhar Ali qualifies as the match ka mujrim because of his stagnated and hampered innings which killed the momentum of Pakistan's innings.
 
Paul Reiffel (cost us extra hundred runs)
Sarfraz Ahmed(careless)
Azhar Ali (dropped a costly catch of mathews)
Junaid khan(just terrible)
 
Mainly Sarfraz Ahmed. He should have kicked on with Azhar, and played risk free cricket until they got into a decent position. His wicket exposed the tail too early.

Can't blame Asad too much, he was a bit unlucky with the way he got out.

We struggled to survive and you are bothering with momentum. Of all the people you name our highest scorer by a fair margin.
 
Lol, If Azhar Ali never contributed then our lead would around 45.
 
YK killed the whole inning by his hyper frantic batting on 4th morning. He took pressure of 100th test on himself. YK of 2010 onwards doesn't take pressure of test cricket and plays freely but this morning he let us down.

Being strangled down the legside isn't unlucky, it's poor execution. It's no different from fishing outside off and edging to slip.

I'm sure it was Shah who dropped Mathews. Maybe it was Azhar aswell as I didn't catch all the action, but Yasir should have really taken that catch. His catching has been abit of a disappointment. He can't be the mujrim of this game just for that though lol
 
Misbah for his poor planning choosing to bat first on a ground with history of being tough on day 1.
Hafeez for simply not being good enough for test level
Junaid Khan the less said the better
 
should also mention Sarfraz who did not have a good test
 
All the batsman who failed in the first innings. That's the reason we lost the game. We can't blame our pace bowlers when our batting gave us very little runs to play with.
 
Nop i think there was no mujrim we were playing with three front line bowlers in which Junaid was horrible so to me Match ka Mujrim was whole team not just one.
 
In this last game:

Azhar- Was batting so well, and threw it away in the softest dismissal possible.

Hafeez- :facepalm: This guy... when he's in form, throws it away in runouts. Giving Inzi a run for his money atm. Also looked set, should've cashed in after Hales gave him a second life.

Malik- Was standing between England and victory, and got out to a goddamn full toss. Has experience in chases, and has played a good hand in 300+ chases vs India years ago, you'd think he'd take us over the line...

But yeah, match ka mujrim imo is someone who looked like he can take us to a position to win, but ****ed up and threw it away.
 
Hafeez with his pathetic runout, Pakistan was on top at the moment before he had a brain freeze and threw his wicket away despite being given a lifeline by hales.
 
Safaraz. Absolute joke. Hits a boundary, gets greedy, looks for another one and gets caught. All he had to do was rotate the strike with Anwar Ali and bring the game down to the last 5-6 overs...

Don't know what's up with Sarfraz. Seriously losing the plot recently.
 
Can't really blame the batsman. It's very unlikely to chase down a total of 350+ for any team. The bowlers especially Anwar and Yasir are to blame for conceding so many runs.
 
Anwar Ali, Wahab + all bowlers. Pretty poor with the ball from Pakistan. Never expected Pakistan to concede so many runs, this is just ridiculous. Pakistan needs to replace this bunch of nobodies with Amir and friends.
 
Sohaib Maqsood. Terrible runner. Got umar out and then pressure got to him.
 
Sarfraz and Hafeez for playing straight to the only man at boundary on leg side and then Maqsood's brain freezes.

Rizwan should be dropped - can imagine him against Ashwin and it will be simply embarrassing.

Of course, that doesn't mean that Hafeez, Sarfraz, Rizwan were much better.

Getting to selfish. You are not suppose to swing at every damn ball when you have got 2 overs to go and a tail of batting left

He should had played till the end, and made sure Pakistan won, but he did what he usually does and swings at everything and throws away his wicket at a crucial moment.

In the last over 7 runs were only scored, wouldn't it been different had afridi lasted? But nope had to throw his wicket away.

When Hafeez came on with Malik; the two overs against the two spinners they wasted... That was well crucial.

Maqsood looked like a tailender.

He has been out of form for a long time now, I think he should be dropped. Needs to go back to domestic and get some form.
 
Get Sarfraz out of the LOIs. All he does is sweep. Who plays sweep against fast bowlers? Threw his wicket away at the wrong time by playing his stupid sweep crap.

If Afridi played with logic.He wouldn't be playing with a strike rate of 400. Only afridi can bat like that. I think Sarfaraz and Anwar Ali are to blame.
They should be doing better.
 
Blame should go on Safraz. He had a brain fade.

It looks like he has only 1 go to shot and that is a leg side sweep. Very very predictable.
 
The game was lost when Sarfaraz got out. He shouldn't have batted like that.

biggest culprit is ALL HAIL SO HAIL tanvir

2 catches dropped, 43 runs given in 4 overs, couldnt finish the game with the bat.

Other smaller culprits:

half feez,

mack-inzi-sood,

riffat-fit and performing bhai-ullah,

sarfaraz-sweeper-ahmad

umpire who gave umar out
