Narendra Modi : Mega Discussion Thread

Look at how freelancing is proudly chest thumping over how modi was banned in UsA and how it ended after he became the PM. Conveniently forgetting the fact that he was banned and branded as a terrorist for his butchering antics in gujrat. So much irony.

Dont each one of you get special screening entering US airports ? is that cos your whole country is branded as ...

Wait. So are you telling me that indians go scott free? :)))
Werent someone from your foreign ministry was stripped naked just a year back iirc? At least make points which you can back up.

Anyhow how is checking on airport equalled to getting banned in usa for being a terrorist. Modi worshippers logic. :yk

Trust Pakistani paranoia to drag this non-issue into a 2-page thread.

Or perhaps if the influx of indians wouldn't respond or become agitated about every other post then these sorts of threads wouldn't have many replies.

Great to see PakPassion becoming the greatest cheerleading site for Shining India on the web. It's also heartening to see so many of our more shy Indian members openly supporting Modi instead of distancing themselves as in the past before his ethnic cleansing slate was wiped clean.

All on a Pakistani forum as well but hey its us that are obsessed! Its not just PP, any Pakistani forum I go to is infested with Indian trolls masquerading as 'sensible' posters.

Great fight-back from Pak brothers, winning back the lost ground, in style. :14:

PV Narasimha visited muscat oman in 93 , he visited my school then. I am suprised he did not visit UAE. Oman is much smaller in comparision to UAE. Rajeev gandhi visited oman in 85 and vajpayee in 98 . And none of them visited UAE??? strange.

Oman is smaller than UAE?Lol!Next joke please.

Modi gets rockstar reception in UAE | Takes selfies at grand mosque

Like that kid from Slumdog Millionaire who went on to win crores of Rupees in the end. Looks like becoming a chaiwala is the best career choice in India at the moment.

Butchering muslims works too.

This Guy is giving a killer speech right now in Cricket stadium

Who is that? Freelance?

I am trying to understand both camps here, where does the leadership lie?

Joshila. Although he sounds like a broken record now with his all repeated ' india doesnt needs your certification' line. Time for new leadership.

Wow, you guys are good. Who knew Pakpassion would end up being more interesting than some of the strategy games I play.

I like time-pass, with proper training, I hope to join you elites soon. :amir

While Modiji speaking abt good Taliban and bad Taliban, BJP member are making bomb.

Unfortunately one of them was killed, and another seriously injured. Mainstream media won't Show this, because it's not trinamool Congress member and not a Muslim house. Joshila can search and update us. Like always he will deny this too.

Do Pak PM's regularly visit Dubai and rest of Gulf ?....

To be honest, I was surprised that it took India 34 years

A chai wala, thats what i have heard.

Rise from the humble background, a good change from the dynastic politics of Congress!!

The funniest part was Benazir Bhutto's will, where she willed her party to her son and husband, as if democratic parties are supposed to be private properties!!

Exactly. Such stuff is pathetic. Thats why PPP is suchay fail. However, i cant really apply the logic consistently as the same ruling party PMLN is also family based.

Anyway, good stuff. My only issue with Modi is that his selection as the PM is opposite to what i believed off India. I thought you guys were liberals and slightly more open minded.

I might nt agree with his religious agendas, but I prefer his economic vision.
You cant have everything in life, right now, we prioritize economics over religion!

If its just economy then it must be the matter of message but not the messenger. Then, why so much furious defense for modi?

What great has he done in improving the quality of life in gujrat? What are his "developmental" achievements? Can you cite some

How are you sure he asked this from Pakistan?

There own well renowned newspaper said this/ In a jibe at Pakistan, he said without taking any country’s name, "Samajhnewale samajh jayengey (Those who need to understand will do so). Akalmand ko Ishara kafi hai (The intelligent only need a hint)".

# India has suffered a lot due to terrorism. Good Taliban, Bad Taliban...Good Terror, Bad Terror...this wont work. A decision has to be taken are you with terrorism or with humanity.

This is what HindustanTimes reported. I doubt he will make such a below the belt remark against Pakistan in a country like UAE where thousands of Indians/Pakistanis work together.

He certainly wasn't talking about our leaders then.

Furthermore, Later, he noted that Pakistan has been a roadblock in the development of connectivity projects in SAARC. “If someone has a problem.. fine, we will go without you,” he said,

He is boring now. Always repeating the same crap like "No one in India or rest of the world cares" in every other thread. Even though it is quite obvious that he does care or he wouldn't be scanning through threads looking for Anti-Hindustan stuff.

i am from gujrat in pakistan bro lol, i get confused whenever people say gujrat, we need to change our cities name

What's amazing about it? There are over a million Indians living in the UAE. What would be really amazing would be if a Pakistani or UAE leader were to receive such a welcome in Mumbai rather than have to avoid playing matches in Maharashtra because of Hindu hardliner threats to the visitors.

True. Age is catching up, i guess.

Regardless of his past ( I've no idea as to his guilt or not so shall refrain from commenting on it) the point is pretty much any Indian PM will get the deluxe treatment in nearly any country. I mean come on, its a country of a billion people, you'll have nations fighting to host him because it could be worth tens of millions if not more to the economy if some sort of trade agreement is negotiated, as India's consumer market is obviously growing and even right now is bigger than most countries populations.

I dont get why anyone is surprised at the reception he got, if he visited any sensible country he'll get similar treatment, its called diplomacy.

Hell apparently he's visiting here in September, maybe we can convince him to bring Dhoni and Co. along as well.

Maybe this is just my ignorance but I havent noticed Pakistan's PM's doing as many foreign tours. They're pretty important I would've thought, especially for a developing nation.

Usually it's written by someone else. Don't know about it. But it hardly matters though. It's not about what's written in the script but how u r actually delivering it infront of ur audiences.

You have Secretary of State/Foreign minister for that purpose. It was Secretary of State John Kerry who was present for the U.S. flag-raising ceremony at the reopening of the embassy in Havana on Aug 14, 2015. Butcher of Gujarat would have gone himself if he was POTUS.

Modi didnt take Pakistans name even a single time in his entire speech.People are taking out their conclusions. #GreenRoars

Just because Pakistanis find him bad doesnt mean Indians to have to find him bad.

He didnt take Pakistans name.He said that the road agreement was pending as some members didnt agree to it so we did it without them. Not a single time he named Pakistan.

By the way, I feel this is nothing. The reception will be even bigger when he travels to San Jose, Silicon Valley in September to address the Indians working and living there ...that will be huge.

There are over 2.6 million Indians in the UAE, I'm sure the majority of them are Hindu so a temple in Abu Dhabi is a good and proper gesture by UAE government.

.

That is not true. There are no official numbers but it is estimated that just over half of allIndians there are Muslims. If you talk about Dubai alone, then Hindus are ~50-60% of Dubai based Indians. But if you talk about the whole country then Indian Muslims outnumber others, and within the Indian Muslim diaspora, most, maybe three-fourths are Keralites.

Its mostly Indian media that are assuming Modi was talking about Pakistan.

All I see from Indian headlines is "Modi tells Pakistan this and that".

So if your Indian media is saying Modi meant the message to Pak then we have to assume that he did regardless of if he mentioned the name of the country or not.

Modi's passive aggressive speach seems highly opportunistic. The UAE just wants to get back at Pakistan for not joining the Yemen conflict.

As i said Modi gave a very open speech.Didnt name anyone.Media is drawing out its own conclusions.

I'm only using internet stats so yeah could be inaccurate. That's still around 1.3 Millions hindus, first temple in Abu Dhabi is a good achievement of some sort

http://www.bqdoha.com/2015/04/uae-population-by-nationality

When a quarter of the population is Indian then obviously the Indian prime minister will get a big welcome.

I hope more people have views like you. Building a temple gives a designated place for worship for millions who serve the country. And i am sure modi has little to do with it, it must have been long pending.

Labour then,Labour now,Labour forever.

It won't make any difference.People of South Asia will always come UAE for labour

Indian newspapers have reached a new level of stupidity didn't expect I Express to fall this low.

What s stupid speech by a PM.Should have never allowed him in our country

Yes, but when your South Asian driver is driving you around, how do the real Arabs know who's who.

lol, when he is delivering speeches he acts like a sher and then when he confronts Nawaz Sharif he turns in to a billi :)))

Large Indian population in UAE, it's obvious for him to get a large welcome. Nice to see him bonding with a Muslim state.
