New Zealand (235 & 174) defeat India (263 & 121) by 25 runs in the 3rd Test to complete a memorable 3-0 whitewash

Pant is a ballsy gutsy cricketer, he has single handedly contributed to India's two series win against Australia in Australia, a match winning knock against England in England where he reverse swept James Anderson and here he is single handedly fighting back against NZ on a rank turner in a difficult situation

Sundar and Ashwin have clutch factor but do they have the skill set to survive and get the job done with Pant already doing half job for them?

Phillips proving to be the weak link. With santner playing India would have lost by a 100 runs.
Most they would have scored in last innings is 50

India has this one in bag, otherwise this would have been humiliation of highest level.
It is is still humiliating. They have lost the series and have had collapses after collapses in this series, and if Pant goes straight after lunch the total humiliation could be a fact.

The bigger issue was having a complete liability like Kohli who was picking and choosing which series to play and still flopping like no tomorrow.

His selection for the World T20 was completely unjustified considering he had not played T20Is for 2 years and was not among the best batters in IPL either.
Rohit did the same thing.he too has not played t20s for 2 years .Even in ipl his avg is 25 with sr 125 for past 6 years .Even then he played 2 very good innings and kohli 1 very good knock in wt20.i will say both are culprits with their pr mania and shamelessly overstayed. A captian abusing it will give alot of wrong signals.I just hope both of them leave and let others thrive.I don't think they can even Score a 50 in bgt.

You perhaps don't know Indian media. If they somehow win here, their media will portray it as Greatest Redemption in Test History.

I still remember how they celebrated the win vs Pak in last ODI during Anay dho series, despite Pak winning the series already.

India favorites to chase this down now, not taking that review has costed them the game.
NZ have thrown away a once in a millennia opportunity to whitewash India in India.

Think Mitchell and Ravindra throwing their wickets away yesterday costed them the test

No we don’t have this in the bag - it’s NZ’s game even now. One wicket and we’ll be done.

And no this wouldn’t be humiliation, because words like ‘humiliation’ are reserved for more serious things than a game of cricket. Only immature folk - there are Pakistanis and Indians in this list - think that way. ‘Slap in the face’, ‘taught a lesson’ are such cringe desi attitudes.

What is was at the end of the second Test was a series is severe lessons for India, a justifiable blow to our pride, and a warning to temper arrogance with humility. No one is above this great game.

Some huge blunders from them to let this weak Indian side off the hook.
Chapman also dropped a dolly yesterday and Gill added 45 more runs

I don't think that was out. :murali

But I get what the umpire saw, it's a super tough decision.

What a shocking decision. It was bat hitting pad
Bat hit the pad way before the spike and at that time there was no spike. At the time of spike no event took place apart from ball brushing against the bat. It had to be out. Or else u vant justify a spike as bat and pad were already in contact way before the spike.

Why are Indians crying? Also I hope Sunny G doesn’t get a heart attack on air.

There was a clear gap between the bat and the pad when the ball was passing the bat and there was a small spike on the snicko. Ergo, it could have only come from the edge. 100% out and a terrific review.

If you lose from here, blame your pathetic team. Not the umpire.

Yeah, also the way Pant looked back at whether the ball was caught meant that he also knew he slightly nicked it.

If India wins, it's all thanks to Pant. The rest of the fraud unit got exposed.

And here these idiots were telling me Current India wipes the floor with classic Australia in a test series 🤣🤣.

Is that your picture below?

You are one frame ahead. The bat already hit the ball at this point and is now deflecting onto the pads.

When the bat and ball were in actual contact, the bat and pad weren’t, ergo, the spike was from the edge of the bat. Again - what is so difficult to understand?

Nah that was idiot's third umpire and delusion posters in a single frame.

He conveniently ignored the first frame where ball clearly brushes the bat.

The funniest part is that you can visually see the deflection. I knew he had hit it the moment I saw the replay and the snicko wasn’t active yet. In addition, Pant’s immediate reaction as soon as the ball was in the air was also a giveaway that he knew he had hit it.

His body language was also quite different than the previous one where he knew he didn’t hit it.

It is hilarious that Indians can’t see the deflection with their eyes but are complaining about the eyesight of other people.

Statistically, Indians wear the most number of specatacles. Due to their large population they have the biggest number of people with poor eyesight and it clearly shows based of some comments on this forumn 🤣
