NADRA report says 77,643 fake votes cast in NA-256

KARACHI: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has submitted its report of thumbprint verification for NA-256 (Karachi) to the election tribunal.

According to the report, 77,643 fake votes were cast in the constituency during the May 11 general elections. The report further states that out of 84,448 votes cast in the constituency only 6,805 could be verified. 11,043 votes were cast using fake identification cards.

The election win of MQM candidate Iqbal Muhammad Ali on NA-256 had been challenged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Zubair Khan.

An earlier report presented by NADRA regarding voter verification for NA-258 (Karachi) had also revealed voter fraud.

I'm getting sick and tired of everyone conspiring against MQM. Now NADRA is at it. We all know MQM is the only party that represents the people of karachi, and they won NA 256 fair and square. Why is NADRA causing problems now?

^ I doubt NADRA will investigate punjab. Nooras were made to win by an elaborate plan, in which I;m quite certain major govt agencies were involved.

Now, why dont you for once, stop playing this punjab card, and admit that MQM's stole the so called mandate in karachi just like nooras did in punjab

Go check my post history. MQM keeps of playing the race card successfully because they are provided enough fuel to do so . Case in point NADRA investigation for Karachi only . Also , I despise MQM but i do know that some grievances are genuine.

I remember this thread back when I was a lurker. Was so optimistic about 2013, and when the result came out, I was extremely disappointed and shattered. I'm so happy that we got there in 2018, definitely makes up for it!

Unfortunately PML-N and the Sharif family has done so much damage and made the most of the 5 years in power, they have left the PTI with a huge mess to clean up.

7 years today was elections day 2013. Rigging or no rigging it was a victory for Nawaz Sharif. IK getting a government in KPK though, a fine achievement from the former cricketer.
