Our batsman have to play faster. If bat first 330 to 290 ka target hona chahiay. I know everyone is missing Afridi.

Inshallah we will win ,if we pakistan bat first ,300 + will be a good winning score ,if england bats first ,we have to contain them within 290 - 310 runs ,and then bat aggresively and let the batsmen like salman butt ,malik ,moyo and razzaq go nuts and hammer england from the start.

I couldnt believe the super sub they chose for the last one dayer... They had 6 regular bowlers and they wanted to include another bowler as supersub. Knowing that Lahore picth is going to be a batting picth and runs will be scored on it.... Planning was real bad incase of pakistan..... Todays line looks a bit better than the last one ....but i still think a specialist batsmen should have replaced Shoaib or Younis Khan... I am still not comfortable with the batting line up.... We should have also included a full time bowler to replace kaneria or Sami.... its not like we dont have any choice left...

Let's all pray that Pakistan wins this one...
 
this is a must win for me. going 2-0 down will put too much pressure on us. Lets win the next 4 straight!
 
agree jonty 2-0 then we have to win all 3, too much pressure, definately have to level the series here or bye bye is looming
 
I think it's better that we lost the toss. For some reason, I always felt that our batting over the past few years has been our strength. What happened at Lahore was a rare mini-collapse in the middle/lower order. Doesn't usually happen. We should win this series quite comfortably.

Correct me if i am wrong....YASIR ARRAFAT ....is a regular bowler? is he not? and they chose him as a supersub for today
 
OTBF, he's also pretty useful with the bat from what ive heard

Arshad is super sub not Arafat
 
very dissapointed with the team line up and super sub, we are forcing the wk to open to make our batting look stronger than it really is.

Im watching it live and arshad is super sub they showed line up and inzi said no changes too.

he may not even be used, even if arshad is used batting is not strong it shudve been a batsmen super sub or arafat. substituting danish wont make us stronger in field or batting :31:
 
I don't get it. What is pak management thinking about. Are they gambling or what? Arshad Khan as super sub was a mistake in the last match and is again in this match.

im going to pretend super sub rule does not exist. Hopefully the 11 should battle it out, this does not mean i support kanerias inclusion
 
Well, England are using Solanki as sub, so it might well be a 11 v 11 game anyway.
 
We need a better bowling performance this time around. We cannot be asked to chase above 300 again. Anything under 300, I reckon we can chase.

Has Darell given any wrong decision in the last game? I have heard somewhere that Razaaq's out was not fairly given?
 
Well guys, Inzi , Woolmer are not fool and there must have some strategy keeping in mind the strenghts and Weakeness. Chosing Arshad Twice could be , they want to use the Super Sub rule to the Maximum Advantage, Pitch is a batting paradise so an extra batsman is not needed if you have your bowling sorted , however a slow bowler will be handy over a medium pacer.

Its a gamble that have not paid for Pakistan , and i dont believe Super Sub would decide the result
 
well rabbani this time they are. if they really wanted to use an extra bowler they shd have subbed in arshad when kaneria was being spanked and maybe given him a few overs. but he was never brought in. so yes in this particular case they are stupid.
 
Yes inshallah, Arshad khan is going to get us atleast some tight spell, like that blackwill, man, he had given no boundaries in his spell. Was Razzaq fairly given out in the last game? what had Darell done in the last game?

I realize that Woolmer is not a fool but by choosing Arshad Khan as a super-sub you now hold 7 bowlers. I see no point in that and I personally feel that a super-sub should be able to contribute in both forms of the game. Arshad Khan is a pointless inclusion. Mansoor Amjad would have offered alot more. Anyone who can hold a bat would have contributed!

Hi Agree with you power, they missed the trick in the last ODI, they could have brought Arshad instead of Kaneria, well all i meant to say that super Sub is an Advantage for sure, however if a Teams play well, it will hardy becomes a factor in deciding results
