I think we should tell Razzaq to play his natural game and start hitting. If we can get a lead of 250, then we have a chance of drawing or winning the test match.

Excellent first day from the Baggy Greens - Langer got us to a great start and ended up with 82 (threw away a chance at a hundred really) and hit Harmy out of the attack. To finish the first day on 350ish with 7 wickets in hand and two well-set batsmen at the crease is great, and will give us more scope to attack tomorrow.
As for England, the bowling has been ordinary, Flintoff aside - geez the bloke is a massive competitor but the rest of his team, particularly Harmy, who I figured would be crucial to their hopes in this Test with his ability to get bounce, did not back him up. Anderson was expensive while Hoggy could not get much swing.
Game on for tomorrow, but I think we won 2 of the 3 sessions today (with the middle session being a draw).

And strategically, given the context of the match, stonewalling for a draw is the best option. I don't think they can win the match from this position anyway, but they can still lose it. Why throw away a 1-0 lead?
I would bat till stumps if I could.
