Amjad takes 6

PAKISTAN’S Mansoor Amjad claimed six wickets as Pakistan A dismissed Zimbabwe A for 191 on the first day of the four-day cricket series at CFX Cricket Academy yesterday.
Amjad sent down six maiden overs and got a reward of six scalps for 69 in 26,3 overs.
Sajid Shah took 3-37 in 15 overs to provide great support in the attack.
Zimbabwe’s opening batsman Neil Ferreira was the highest scorer with his half century, 57 runs in 156 balls that included four fours.
There were runs, too, for Mark Vermeulen, who scored 55 before he was caught and bowled by Amjad.
Captain Stuart Carlisle was sent back to the pavillion without troubling the scorers after he was dismissed for a duck.
The hosts’ third highest score came from the extras as the Pakistani bowlers gave away 30 runs.
In reply Pakistan were 64 for the loss of three wickets.
