Pakistan got lucky in 1992, they got lucky in 2017 and they got lucky even reaching the finals for t20 world cup 2022.

But in sarfraz's case he never came forward to lead by example. He instilled a good mentality in the team and so did mickey arthur which was the key to winning, our mindset is what won us the trophy whereas India and England just weren't in it that day.

However sarfraz took a backseat most of the time. Sarfraz also preferred using some of his buddies like Anwar Ali, etc and favouring them to have in the squad.

I'm not saying sarfraz was a bad captain, but don't compare him to imran Khan brother.

Imran Khan scouted talent and led by example instilling a world class winning mentality. Sarfraz can't scout talent nor can he lead by example.

Mickey arthur was the one who chose fakhar to open and identified that babar was born to bat at no 3. Sarfraz and mickey both contributed. Inran Khan single handedly has done what no other captain in Pakistan cricket could do.
