whats unlucky? clearly deceived by straighted one. Babar doesnt play sweep and that will limit him against good spin

Pak dug their own grave (read - pitch) today
Like it or not, he’s the one standing at the crease, not Abid and not Imran Butt and not Babar and not Shaheen
Lmao azhar clearly is a low iq player...
Babar is not as good as most experts feel he is, he hasn't done enough yet to be mentioned with Kohli, Williamson, Smith, Root.
Sadly he is the best batsman we have in the team right now hence why he looks the best in a bad bunch. Have never seen him come good in a high pressure situation barring that NZ wc game in the 2019 ODI WC and even then people will say that the target was at best par
Had to be misbah last series
Despite being 200x more talented i fear that Babar is in the same league as Asad Shafiq when it comes to mental strength. He's been around long enough to seize the game by the horns when neccesary but i rarely seem to remember him saving Pakistan out of tight spots anytime in his career.
SA bowlers took first four overs to see how the movement was. Then went straight at stumps and our batsmen had no answer.
Babar has problem against slow left armers from india.. first Kuldeep now Keshav
2nd nightwatchman in now
Lmao azhar clearly is a low iq player...
Relax guys, we have 36 AO.
What could go low than that?
Think it’s simpler. He’s one of the few batsmen from the subcontinent who do not pick spin (variations) well out of the hand generally.
Relies on playing the ball mostly on the length (too full or too short is good, anything else hope for the best) to commit to it.
On top of that he’s not one for playing ‘ugly innings’. He’s only used to playing fluently and anything else is almost counterproductive.
You mean.. The same nigtwatchman who scored century against NZ in NZ...
Not to panic. 2-3 wickets were expected to go down by end of the day. Azhar, Fawad, Rizwan and Faheem can take the score to 200. Have faith. This is just Day 1.
Missing abbas here... He is handy Night watchman...

Yeah he seems to not read the hand of spinners . Usually sub continent batsman are good at that.
33/4 - Close of play.
15 wickets in day and batting quality has been poor.
If we scrap 150 from here it will be a miracle on day 2

Both are fighting innings...yah like yasir did in australia
Misbah already confirmed that series result will not affect his job.
Azhar is senseless... Why he exposed night watchman...?
